Welcome to the forum!

Welcome to our Forum, we’re glad you found us!

On this Forum you can discuss everything regarding Homey and Athom. This forum is for everyone, independent of your knowledge and experience with our products. I thought it would be a good idea to set some guidelines so we’re all getting the most out of this medium.

Here we go:

  1. Please stay on-topic.

  2. Please use a meaningful title for your thread.

  3. Search for your topic ideas on the forum to see if somebody else already mentioned it somewhere.

  4. If you have a question, please first browse the Knowledge Base to see if you can find your answer there.

  5. Always be polite and give constructive feedback. There are real people behind a username.

  6. Keep the conversation in English, except for the localized subforums.

  7. Please use only one language per topic.

  8. Don’t reply to your own posts in the same topic but edit your previous post.

  9. If you want the moderations to read along, mention @Caseda, @Dijker, @johan_bendz, @Jamie, @DirkG, @OH2TH

  10. If you need support from Athom or find an issue related to Homey, the smartphone or the web app, please visit Support | Homey.

  11. If you are a developer and found a bug, please create an issue on GitHub. There are issue trackers available for the Apps SDK and the Web API.

  12. If you are looking for an app, the quickest way to check whether a device is supported, is to search the app store Homey Apps.

For some Infrared, Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter or Thread devices no extra app is needed.

  1. If you have questions about a community app or want to report a bug, please use the appropriate topic, the developer platform (e.g. GitHub, Bitbucket) or contact the app developer. Links can be found in the App Store, otherwise please search for an appropriate topic in the forum.

  2. If you are looking for someone to create a new community app, there is a Homey Community App Requests topic where you can make your request.

If you are missing a supported brand on Homey and/or Homey Pro, then visit the request page Request A Brand.

And most of all, have fun and be kind. Only together can we make smart home better!
