[APP][Pro] Homewizard 🧙‍♂️

The same here this morning. I had a 5 sec. (before it was 10) poll frequency. After app restart and Homey restart there were updates for a short period of time.

I have a Homewizard display and use Homewizard Android app. Maybe too much combined with Homewizard Homey app with 5 seconds on Homey 2023. After setting back the frequency to 10 seconds, it seems to work again as expected.

I pushed v3.6.8 to test/beta, hope it helps/resolve the sudden timer stop(s).

Still updating with a frequency of 5 seconds since one hour (update 3.6.8). Seems the solution for me. Thank you!

Can you please drop me a diagnostic report so I can see the logs if my assumption was correct?

What is your conclusion/assumption?

Strange, seems not the case. Maybe the interval was to short or temporary cpu spike for the app to run. I’ve added an extra check during polling process to see if the interval is still active (case where p1 stopped), if so it will start a new one.

Thanks for the fast fix! Here it looks like the issue is gone. It is now updating for around 30 minutes. (5 sec updates)
Maybe helpful; a diag report: 4f588252-e667-468d-878a-05e06bce738d

Yeah so it seems confirmed with you:

I was a bit hesitant to use this app as it needs full control of my HPro. But this app indeed did the trick. Thanks.

Yeah due to the “older” led ring support.

Hi Jeroen!
I withdrew my post below, because the poll interval was set to 2s.
But the “HW unavailable” notifications didn’t go away after I reverted back to 10s (app was not restarted after that).

Just FYI: test app v3.6.1 works well with my P1, but now I receive offline/unavailable messages quite often.
It appears to be offline very briefly.
This didn’t ever occurred before.
The insighst graphs don’t show interruptions.
I’ll send a diag if you like.

Some logs:

(I use the Net Scan community app to check on the connections).

And of course no hurries!

Eh what did I miss? Maybe early 2019 Homey?

I updated my post buddy. I thought a 2s interval was a bit too much, but it might be not that.

Ok, let me know if you need a hand.

I’ll send the diag, maybe you can see something going on:

The 10s doesnt show errors.

Thanks for checking!
I lied a bit. Net Scan doesn’t trigger it, it’s this flow apparently :face_with_peeking_eye:
I disabled it.

I’ll stick with Net Scan checks, it’s “less nervous” with this settings

I added the device HW P1 v2 (for testing) but still have v1 too in Homey Pro 2023, is this a problem?

Do I need the token for the added device as requested here Getting Started | HomeWizard Energy API Documentation

Using P1 firmware 6.0112 and Plug-in Battery 1.0106

Problem, no. But there will be two P1 tracking your household energy consumption (double the amount) for energy tab.
Token is internal stored in Homey for allowance to communicate.

OK then I will remove the device with API v1 because v2 is the way to go. Can I disable the local API in the HomeWizard Energy app now?

Thanks
