Restart HomeWizard app on Homey.
Hi Jeroen, thanks a lot for your fast and adequate assistance, all fine now!
Casper Vet
Problem is old deployed devices keep their old capabilities.
Test/beta update:
v3.3.18
- Added support to the Energy usage for Homey (Homey SDK)
v3.3.18
Both P1 and water meter are offline in Homey, not in the HW mobile app.
Any tips?
NordVPN is running on a different client (Google TV) so it should not interfere. I switched it off in the meantime and restarted the app in Homey to be sure)
Sent you the diagnostics.
Nothing in the logs, please reboot/restart your AccessPoint
Didn’t help (unifi access point) but a complete homey restart helped. Thank you
Yes that would be the next step if AP doesn’t work.
Good to hear it is resolved now.
Hi Jeroen, question. I am not so good in using the forum sow hopefully the question is not allready asked. I am making a flow with the purpose when my sunpanels have to much energy my house is not using. I put some extra heating on. With card of homewizard should i start with? Sow for example start when 2000 kwh is not being used but going back to the net. Thank you!
Utilize the logic flows that are in the Homey app.
The starter is not clear to me. The sum of or…
Great app!
I upgraded to Energy+ yesterday to get insights in my Inverter data (P1 minus solar = the real “home usage”). I can’t get this in Homey as a variable though (goal is to get it in Power by the Hour). Is this not possible?
The internal power usage doesnt get pass the P1 so it is not aware of it.
You need to combine data from all other sources like kwh, sockets, solar.
Only the internal Homey Energy feature itself comes close to what you seek, sadly something I can’t produce from the data that is exposed in the P1 (there is no value at all that captures that).
This would be something as a start. P1 returns 2000w (ie. negative 2000 as you return to grid).
I also suggest that you add an additional “AND” for checking the device you want to enable is off else the flow will trigger every time.
But you can make it as complex/complicated as you like.
Yes, well you have to test/play with it. The first card will only trigger once as its an “event”. But it is a good start.
Every few days I get the below message and then it takes several days to get it back to normal, what would cause this? Ping test works perfectly
I see no message, so cant help
Now you can see the message
Well that error means that Homey can’t reach that device on its known IP address.
I would start with a reboot of your AP’s that connects both Homey and your P1 dongle.
- What wifi technology are you on? Unifi/Ubiquiti? Other mesh?
- Are there VLAN’s?
- Wifi Client Isolation?
There are so many factors that could show that kind of error.
