[APP][Pro] Homewizard 🧙‍♂️

there are 2 ways to do this… but the scenes can be added in Flows, by saying that you want homewizard to set a certain preset…

with the kaku switches: you can also give the command via homewizard and “learn” that on Homey… i had to do that as well for a few built in switches…

Use scenes not presets (presets are the Home/Away/Sleep/Vacation).
Btw this is English section so keep questions and comments in english so other people can help. There us a dutch section here: [APP][Pro][NL] Homewizard 🧙‍♂️

I couldn’t find it in Homewizard. But after changing the batteries the problem was gone.

Test:

v3.2.25

  • P1 Phase3 circuit adjustment code (some values are not updated in rare setups)
  • Watermeter offset taken from Homewizard Energy app when set, else it takes the offset in Homey Homewizard setting

Paul Scholte, thank you for your paypal donation. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Hye, i have a note and a bug (mabby)

Note: i would love to see my energie display added, so i can also use its temp sensor. and control it via homey.

bug: when my energie plugs are disconected from power home cant reconect them. only when i restart the app they come back.

bug: when i bought extra plugs they didnt show up but when i restarted the app they would comme up directly.

maby the 2 bug are conected. or i did do somthing wrong

Hi,

Display is not supported (yet). Homewizard hasn’t released an API for it so impossible for me to develop a driver in my app to connect to it.
I’ve received this request a few times already but I am depending on an API that Homewizard must release.

I hear more people have issues when sockets suddenly change their ip address (dhcp from the router) and Homey fails to detect this via mDNS. I got the code to detect it (onDiscoveryAddressChanged) for the sockets and other devices but sadly that doesnt seem to trigger. Word of advise as mentioned in starter post is to make addresses static in your dhcp server settings on your internet router or accesspoint.

Restart of my app should be enough to resolve red marker icons, do not remove devices this will make it harder to solve (see other people in this topic).

Kan je deze vraag hier stellen in het Nederlandse deel? Of vertaal het naar engels zodat het consistent blijft voor anderen.

ok, ill keep that in mind  .

P1 dongle readings stopped working (red triangle) Jan 13, CET 11.00. Energy app working, local API activated. App restarted, Homey restarted.

Diagnostic report 67a70604-b140-4a5d-af9b-aba87cc0db11

Homey doesnt see your devices. So to my guess its a mDNS problem in your wifi and/or internet router.
Please reboot your access point where you Homey and Homewizard devices are connected to.

I do not think it is a router problem. Homey Net Scan app do see P1 dongle.

Homey netscan is not mDNS that is ping or port probe/test on a manual configured ip address.
My Homewizard for Homey app needs mDNS working and to my current finding that is not the case in your network.

My dongle has firmware 5.04. Is it validated?

Hi Morgan, I dont work for Homewizard so no clue what you mean if it is “validated”.
I just checked my P1 and it that seems also to be firmware 5.04 and I dont have issues in my Homey and network so the answer is probably that the firmware is ok.

I am just trying to troubleshooting and appreciate your effort. My Unify router never causing problems. Of cause I also tried rebooting the router, but now I am stuck.

Check the first post in this topic, did you check the mDNS Discovery/Browser app on your phone or tablet to see if you can see those mDNS broadcasts?

What else changed recently?

  • New AP firmware?
  • Enabled isolation on SSID?
  • Guest wifi Network?
  • IoT VLAN network?
