Ok, but is there anyting I can do to capture data for troubleshooting / does it show I have anything misconfiguered?
If I run the commend in the browser, I’m not prompted for a password
Homewizard itself works. But you dont have access to the data inside without the correct password.
Dear Jeroen and @ MielClaessens,
Many thanks for the guidance/help.
I’ve been able to figure out the issue.
The local password that I thought I was setting via the web interface (even when in local mode) did not save. For that I had indeed to download the HWconfig program (thankfully there was a Mac version I could find and I still had a Mac that is running an old 32bit OS).
After configuring this right (that tool told me you can’t use special characters), I was able to connect the HomeWizard base station.
Thank s for the help and awesome programming to integrate this in Homey.

Hi, I have homewizard P1 and energy sockets and one energy socket is not working in homey, red !.
I removed the powerplug in homey and did a reboot of homey. After waiting 4 -5 min I want add new device in homey. When I click add new device I select homewizard, click energy socket but nothing is found.
What can I do to add the device again?
In homewizard app the socket working.
Regards Marc
Check my first post, probably a mdns issue.
Currently its every 15sec polling
I have the same problems. You have to remove the power plug from the homey app. Go to the Home Wizard app en choose for " change the wifi connection" You can still choose the same network. After that you can add a new device in the homey app en it will find the device.
Thanks Jeroen and Jacques for reply !
The MDNS didnt found the energy socket. The solution waa a reboot of the deco wifi. After that it works again.
Strange because P1 did see the device.
Regards Marc
Installed today the p1 and i have a 1fase meter witch i add later.
The homewizzzard energy app works fine and added it also to the Homey.
But when i open the meter in Homey i get all the Numbers but in a few seconds i get the message “device is not rechable”
Sounds like wifi / mdns problem.
Unplug / power off p1 and try again.
Reset the p1 and delete it in homey.
I added the Mac to a static ip.
Added at the energy homewizzard and after i add the meter at Homey and got same problem.
See first post, check if discovery app mdns shows them.
Hi Jeroen
Everything was working fine. Now I have problem that the 3 phase meter cannot be
found anymore . The meter was shown with a red exclamation mark meaning that it is not working. I tried the 3 phase meter with http and the response is OK. Did you change something during the last update ? Before I removed your app, and installed it again, it was giving me the error EHOSTUNREACH. After installing it again the device cannot be found anymore?
No haven’t changed anything around that area only the Homewizard Legacy devices (Wind and Rainmeter).
Judging from your problems it sounds like wifi and dhcp giving issues. Check with a mobile or tablet with that Discovery mDNS app where and if you multicast dns is working properly. Restart the Homewizard for Homewizard to be sure it picks up the updated IP address on your wifi network.
v3.2.22 (live)
- Contact sensors 868Mhz Homewizard Legacy fix
- Windmeter bug fix, battery can be empty but there is still ws (windspeed) available
- Rainmeter battery alarm added (Homewizard Legacy)
I’m not sure what happened. But as of todays update my p1 power meter device isn’t working in homey any more.
I’ve added a debug report:
18cc20f5-cfeb-4d97-a703-59b57643cacd
I see no errors in the log. Please check mdns discovery tool in first post to see if mDNS is working for your p1
