[APP][Pro] Homewizard 🧙‍♂️

The top of the slope was the end of the power cut.
The spike is my water-cooker.

My point is that where there is no power the line had to be 0 (zero) as well.
How is that working in the app for your graphics.

Now hoping that Homewizard is reacting on my question.

For this app it was only to ‘keep an eye on it’ if there are more strange things happening.

I think the problem of that “slope” is related to there is no data at all so, also…no 0 watt as a datapoint. Default behavior of vectoring or engines to plot graphs is that it tries link 2 dots to each other without having any “knowledge” of what happened in between so it will simply link / draw a line between 1 datapoint (ie. begin of slope) and the 2nd datapoint which is the top of that slope.

Yes, not perfect but it is what it is in any of graph plotters that are there.
I know this as this is my real job for working as a engineer. Many products I use for Network Monitoring, performance measuring etc. act like that. “Works as designed” is the famous answer of course.

It’s begin more and more confusing for me.
One point makes a slope and the other not.
For me it’s strange that you know that what you have is not good and you build something else on it.

Sorry that I bother you. :+1:

Not sure what you mean with that.
But if you have a solution you can clone the code in github and fix it there. :+1:t2:

HI,

I’m new to getting Homewizord working with my Homey (Pro 2023).

I’ve installed the app and want to start with adding the base station. I’m doing it in the browser, as in the home app the signin screen flashes away.

The thing is, it does not seem to respond whatever I fill in in the setting:

I also tried putting in the IP with http:// in front, no difference

Any clues what I’m doing wrong?

Tried both the current releas 3.2.18 and the beta 3.2.20

Are you sure you got the right local ip and password for your Homewizard?

Try the local ip if you get a screen…

After that, try http://ip/pw/get-status

Very sure, see the 2 screen next to each other:

Also sure that both Homey Pro and Homewizard are in the same IP network:

And the get-status also works?

Where would you like me to enter this command?

If I want to run this on my laptop, that is not recognised (using a mac)

Are your wifi clients allowed to talk to each other?
I think it can be called AP isolation (turn it off).

try in Safari:

http://192.168.178.226/WACHTWOORDHIER/get-status

works for me from my iphone…

Yes, otherwise we can’t control our Sonos speakers.

I had to add more devices based on IP adress, that did work (The below list is about 50% of the devices I’ve added to Homey Pro)

HI Miel,

Many thanks for helping, much appreciated. I now understand the suggested command better.

This is the result I get:

Is this helping to find the root cause?

Where it says “wachtwoordhier” you need to fill in your own password of the homewizard locally… so not the one from homewizard online!

That I understood from the manual.

You can only set/configuer the device pasword if you disable the Homewizord online services.

SO I did configuere that. I only don’t know/understand if I need to set it once and can enable the homwizard online service again after this or need to keep this permantly disabled.

Right now I’ve set the password but kept the online Homewizard enabled, otherwise the homewizard kind of becomes useless.

Both keep working. You only need your local password to access it locally like that get-status command.

I thought, lets disable the online to test, didn’t help.

Rebooted the Homewizard, nothing changed in the ‘get-status’ settings.

Is that report showing anything that is unusaul?

Its the method used to get the data from Homewizard.
Status says failed as your password is wrong of course.
