[APP][Pro] Homewizard 🧙‍♂️

I have on both Homey’s Power by the Hour installed.
But the Watermeter was not added to HP23. Now I added it.
Problem solved.

The problem was me. :pensive:

And they both named Watermeter in my HP19.
At HP23 they are called Watermeter and Watermeter_Σ water.
Did not renamed them.

@Jeroen_Tebbens

I have this issue when i want to change the watermeter (status indicator)

I am running the latest version with the compensation of the devices in it

Works fine with me, just changed it and no error. So must something with the Homey GUI. Maybe close Homey app on your mobile and try again?

@MielClaessens Are you able to change the sort of device? Device settings.
I mean can you change a lightbulb from lamp to other? Or any other device.
There are more users with that problem.

Indeed that also does not work. Not a big issue now…

@MielClaessens It is this topic.

Thanks!

From yesterday my installed Homewizzard app in Homey, indicates an error. I use the energy measurement device of Homewizard. This device is all operating for the last 1 1/2 year on the Homey 2019
The Homewizard app on my phone works fine, device is still measuring values.
Is this caused by the latest sofware update of Homey??

I have had the same issue. After restarting the app or after an update all my devices indicated an error. My solution was to reset the modem and homey. After that all devices were recognized again.

Sometimes when Homey did get an update it will help to do a PTP when not all devices were recognized.

For information because I don’t use this app but I found a strange situation this morning in the graphics form Homewizard.
When I was sleeping we had a power cut in the street. Every thing was out.
But when I look in the graphics this morning there where values from the P1 meter and the socket for the central heating.

No idea if there more of that kind of strange things can occur in the data

Now I hope that this is not what my energy company get.

Maybe compare the values from insight vs “the official homewizard energy app”

Pushed to stable:

v3.2.18

  • Homewizard Wattcher (legacy) bug fix
  • Windmeter battery support

Picture is from the “the official homewizard energy app”

I know Theo, what is your point raising it?
Is the spike also in Homey Insights?

The top of the slope was the end of the power cut.
The spike is my water-cooker.

My point is that where there is no power the line had to be 0 (zero) as well.
How is that working in the app for your graphics.

Now hoping that Homewizard is reacting on my question.

For this app it was only to ‘keep an eye on it’ if there are more strange things happening.

I think the problem of that “slope” is related to there is no data at all so, also…no 0 watt as a datapoint. Default behavior of vectoring or engines to plot graphs is that it tries link 2 dots to each other without having any “knowledge” of what happened in between so it will simply link / draw a line between 1 datapoint (ie. begin of slope) and the 2nd datapoint which is the top of that slope.

Yes, not perfect but it is what it is in any of graph plotters that are there.
I know this as this is my real job for working as a engineer. Many products I use for Network Monitoring, performance measuring etc. act like that. “Works as designed” is the famous answer of course.

It’s begin more and more confusing for me.
One point makes a slope and the other not.
For me it’s strange that you know that what you have is not good and you build something else on it.

Sorry that I bother you. :+1:

Not sure what you mean with that.
But if you have a solution you can clone the code in github and fix it there. :+1:t2:

HI,

I’m new to getting Homewizord working with my Homey (Pro 2023).

I’ve installed the app and want to start with adding the base station. I’m doing it in the browser, as in the home app the signin screen flashes away.

The thing is, it does not seem to respond whatever I fill in in the setting:

I also tried putting in the IP with http:// in front, no difference

Any clues what I’m doing wrong?

Tried both the current releas 3.2.18 and the beta 3.2.20
