@Jeroen_Tebbens looking forward, are you planning to integrate the HomeWizard Slim Laden option into your app? You mentioned you are part of the closed test phase.
Yes, code is ready. P1 can toggle the “SlimLaden” mode.
Hi Jeroen,
Every night I see the battery enter standby from roughly midnight to 5–6 AM. The timeline shows the reason:
▎ “Preserve — higher price expected €0.398 vs current €0.286”
The optimizer is holding charge for a forecasted daytime price peak — but that peak coincides with PV production, so the battery never actually discharges into it. Meanwhile, profitable nighttime opportunities (€0.29–0.31/kWh, well above my €0.18 minimum) are skipped entirely.
The “preserve” logic doesn’t seem to account for PV forecast when evaluating future discharge
opportunities. If solar is expected to cover demand during the peak, that peak shouldn’t be a reason to withhold overnight discharge.
It is connected to Homewizard app and and IP and local API is set (not sure V1 or 2) but must the Homey Pro be in the same network for discovery or just the phone you use?
It is a choose choose to separate the Homey Pro and other less secured devices.
What should be on on the firewall to make discovery possible besides Mdns (because I forecast that the Pro needs to be normally directly in the same subnet as the P1).
Homey Pro will discover the device, not your phone. So make sure port 80 is allowed to the device, and mDNS is also forwarded. If your firewall does not support mDNS forwarding, you can also use the “P1-meter (Cloud)” driver, that doesn’t need any firewall rules since it uses a cloud connection
Hi Jeroen. Something I noticed after the recent uodate:
- Batterij modus since this morning on “NOM”
- Update Homey HW app on 14:52
- Batterijmodus changed to “Slim Laden”, also in de HW app
- In Homey P1 screen batterij modus on “Slim laden”
- In Homey P1 screen advanced settings the Batterij mode stil on “Nul op de meter”
After an update (and restart od the Homey HW app) the battery modus shouldn’t be changed automatically in my opinion. Right?
But, when this happens the battery modus is not synced in the advanced settings.
V3.15.87
Ok sync issue. Let me investigate. I had an issue transferring from SlimLaden to NOM and back to SlimLaden, somehow it skips the P1 state as is lead.
Should be fixed in v3.15.88
Sync is ok now.
But, when the app is updated the current modus should be kept, in my case “NOM”. It changed to “Slimladen” after update.
Still after this update? It might bevit was that mode in P1 still.
v3.15.89
before update I changed to “NOM”. Updated via browser. Again it chaged to “Slim laden”
Sent me diagnostics
cf7eaf31-e78e-4511-aa88-e920347ef5d2
The diag is after I changed back tot NOM afterl last update
Hope v3.15.90 fixes it now
I changed earlier to “NOM alleen laden” I noticed, therefor I changed to “NOM”. (I double checked if it was registered)
Then I did the app update, it changed to “NOM alleen laden”.
Is there perhaps some time needed after a status change?
v3.15.91 P1 is source of truth when Homewizard app restarts.
I changed back to NOM, it then was the mode in the HW app (battery) and in Homey (P1).
After the update the mode changed to “NOM alleen laden”.
Sounds like battery policy is on and pushes that mode then? Check planning there. Else turn policy off to be sure.
