[APP][Pro] Homewizard 🧙‍♂️

I was reading here as since ~3 hours my P1 meter using the HomeWizard app in Homey Pro stopped providing new data. This was exactly when 3.10.12 was installed.

No reboot op de P1 nor reboot of the HomeWizard app in Homey fixed anything.

Installing the experimental version, 3.11.0, fixed this immediately.

EDIT: I see that you’ve asked people to try v3.10.13. This is not the same version number I am talking about in my post.

Yes v3.10.13 is the current stable version (now). The previous issue occurred due to daily reset gas meter for some strange reason stopped the rest of the capability updates. While this seemed not affected everyone as my Homey Pro 2023 (which I use for development and testing code before I release it) was fine. As the onPoll section was getting a mess (long list code) I splitted all functions in to smaller pieces to be sure there isnt some locking going on (as that is what happened).

v3.11.0 (test/beta/experimental) used this different method, so hoping this would work better. And more specifically to daily reset of the day usage of gas, water and electricity.

It was a bit confusing, because my Homey reported an update to version 3.10.12 this morning. In the afternoon, I noticed that no data was coming in. After uninstalling and reinstalling the app, I suddenly had version 3.10.13. So the issue might have been in 3.10.12, but I can’t pinpoint it.
Seems like 3.10.13 appears to be stable so far. Thanks for all the work, by the way.

My P1 is not working with stable app version 3.10.13? I went back from the test version you made a few days ago to the stable version because the P1 issues we’re fixed in the test version that was pushed to stable.

Wifi is fine! Only the wasmachine and droger are losing connection now and then because of there difficult position. But no problem with P1 and watermeter, they’re connected in the official homewizard app too..

Then it is your Homey struggling.

P1 did not update here also .

Worked as it should in Homewizard app.

Installed beta after I tried to restart the latest stable with no luck.

Drop me a diagnostic please.

And guys….HomeWizard Energy app is cloud based.
This is different from what I do locally with polling.

Hmm, I never had any issue with the Homewizard app until the last 2 weeks or so. It’s working since 2021 in my home as a charm and I’ve never lost the connection with the P1 meter. So I don’t know what changed in the code or with the new functionalities, but something made the P1 unstable.

And yes today my homey went offline for a few minutes. But that’s happening more often now and then and never was a problem for the Homewizard app and the P1 meter. The P1 meter never went offline or didn’t came back after homey was offline for the last years.

Hopefully this helps you to see whatever changed the last, let’s say 3 weeks. I would be happy to go back to the app version of half december.

I installed stable version again , and now it is working.

What firmware is your P1 as there have been some updates.

And share me your p1 output

http://192.168.1.58/api/v1

Software: 6.0206

And since I’m not at home right now the P1 output link is not working. Can I find that in the official homewizard app?

Ok I think I got a hunch. Pushing a new test version.

Try v3.11.1

Thanks, trying the test version, I’ll see if it’s stable again!

I see you changed the order of processing, eletric first then gas/water. Is the order something that has changed with the newer app versions since the few weeks? Hope you found it!

Order no, I had to update the gas meter code for daily reset at night (some users complained it wasnt reset to 0. Further there was a user where the gas meter wasnt adminitrative updated by the electric company so had to modify the code to use external source which is probably sensitive with firmware version of P1 as you are still behind. But somehow the fallback code doesnt pick your case up and exits. Which stops overall processing of pending data like electric.

Which link?
