[APP][Pro] Homewizard 🧙‍♂️

Also, after some testing, the meter doesn’t seem to be reachable locally on v2 either. Do you have any suggestions before I contact HW?

See if pressing the AP button helps or “reset” it and try to reconnect to your wifi. Sorry I dont work for Homewizard check their site for manuals how to reconnect / pair wifi.

v3.9.3

  • Bugfix - Updated P1apiv2 check-battery-mode condition card

Thanks for implementing the gas meter option!

But does it have the desired effect? Is gas now removed from the Homey Energy dashboard?
Honestly I find it strange I have to do this for Athom and not some toggle/switch in the Homey Energy dashboard that allow you control this.

Yes, gas disappears from the Energy Dashboard when switched off in your app. I agree with you that it is strange that it is not an option from Athom.

I want a automatisation for the pib homewizard to start charging at night at 2am so I can get the benefit of my nightdiscount in sted of full payment at day?

I cant find a start loading proces then only a and flow for the pib

In the app from the pib is only 1oppertunity to say 1time to fully load en then back to zero counting automatitation.no option there asswell for a daily timer to fully load…

Thanks at advance

You can use the flow charts for the HomeWizard P1 meter to change the state of the HomeWizard battery, e.g. “Set battery to Full Charge mode”. The P1 meter then sets the battery.

i dont see that flow? the p1 doesnt have flows ?enkel in de flow keuze bij al men apparaten van homewizard zie ik alle stopcontacten maar niet de batterie of de p1 meter?

in the flow IF ,AND, THEN there is only the option to fil in the IF and AND but in the THEN flow only the option sockets are availble and no batterie or p1 to see

do I need to download a other app? I have a P1 dongle from homewizard not from homey… is that the issue?

You must add the Homewizard P1 as a apiv2 device.
The default apiv1 does not have the battery mode flow cards, these are only available in the APIV2 flavor P1.

Hi Jeroen. I saw an app update to 3.9.5. Because of the untriggered mode changes today I have set an flow to keep track of mode changes: the update also “changed” the battery mode. I think it “changed” to Zero mode (what the mode was before the app update).

Today I restarted the Homewizard app some times (before I saw the mentioning of the update of the new beta version of the P1 software) and got the idea that after the app restart the battery mode changed to zero instead of keeping the mode Standby where it was on.
What is your opinion, is that perhaps an occurance of the new P1 firmware or perhaps something you have to look into?

I dont trigger anything. P1 is source of truth. The problem is mode = zero is valid for 3 different sub modes.

  1. zero (default charge_allowed & discharge_allowed) - (internally I can call this zero)
  2. zero (charge_allowed) (zero_charge_only)
  3. zero (disacharge_allowed) (zero_discharge_only).

Standby somehow is the same as “zero” but both 2 flags charge_allowed / discharge_allowed are not set. But I also have to keep the code downwards compatible with the “older” firmware without the permissions. This is where it gets annoying. I got now 5 people in DM’s bugging me not to mention tweakers.

I think I found the problem with explicit states and forcing the modes to be sent to the two methods possible (fetch/polling mode and the websockets).
It’s just a lack of spare time to really follow through. I keep pushing small bug fixes but at the moment it sometimes I have one person happy and then another isn’t.

It’s still test/beta, so yeah it might work, or it doesnt. I already burned 6 hours on this new P1 beta feature.

Hi Jeroen. Thanks for your response and the work on the changes and clarifying.
Good to know, I will wait for further development on the P1 software and look into the new added features to add in my flows. At this time I use only Full charge and Standby modes so I thought to get away not using the new commands.

I pushed an update last night that should do a better job changing these modes.

I saw the new version (nice time at night and you are online now…) and tried it: no mode change when the update was done and also no mode change after doing a small charge, putting it in Standby and then restarting the app. I will monitor this today, thanks!
