[APP][Pro] Homewizard 🧙‍♂️

Question: Is it possible to disable the gasmeter reading in the app?

I don’t have a gasmeter (anymore), but the app includes the gasmeter. It also appears in the Homey Energy tab. I would like to show only the electricity parameters and get rid of the gasmeter.

How do I see/know you don’t have a gasmeter? If your smartmeter still has it registered and shows data in P1? Did you check? It’s commonly that grid organisations like Stedin, Liander, Enexis…etc. are sloppy and administrative struggle with backlog.

The gasmeter has been fysically removed last April by (a subcontractor of) Liander. They didn’t unregister it from the smart meter as far as I know.

So, there is no setting to disable the gasmeter in Homey when the dongle still reports gas meter parameters (although there are no readings anymore)?

Correct. If I see gas data, even if they are stationary (ie not changing) how can I see the difference between one is disabled and one is using a heat pump with a cv support only when it is really cold.

Which means I have to make a user checkbox to control that or Athom make the gas optional in their Energy dashboard as that is what you asking me.

My main question was if there was already such an option. That is clear now, there isn’t

A checkbox to disable gas readings in your app would be great, but I’ve no idea about the impact or the amount of work.

Impact is large as gas is in both P1 (apiv1) and (apiv2) and requires about 1 hour work.

Hi Francis,

could you possibly share your homeyscript solution to retrieve the real-time peak information from the telegram data? Is it using the APIv1 or the APIv2?

P1 APIv2 has websocket support and realtime. Just adjust settings in at device and toggle poll mode off.

I think we’re talking about different things. In the P1 device parameters I do see the real-time power usage, but I don’t see the real-time peak information = the real-time amount of kW used in current quarter of an hour, which is reset to 0 every 15 minutes (Belgian peak tariff…).

Is that only in the telegram? Which parameter is it in the api?

This one?

average_power_15m_w

I was looking at the same. If it is in the api, it’s probably average_power_15m_w, but I doubt that this is the value I’m looking for. I don’t expect to see an average value of last 15 minutes. What I expect to see is at start of the quarter, this is 0 kW and this value continues to increase till the end of the quarter, then back to 0 kW

I will check later and add it then.
I must review the code for Belgium as the plugin battery also starts to roll there.

v3.9.2

  • New Plugin Battery mode support (zero_charge_only & zero_discharge_only) - dynamic tariff capabilities
  • Optional gas checkbox (default enabled) for P1 (apiv1 and apiv2). (User request)
  • Added 15min power datapoint for Belgium (average_power_15m_w) P1(apiv2)

Hi Jeroen,

For the past few weeks, the 3f kWh meter with API v2 has become unavailable. Unfortunately, I can’t say during which app update this happened.

Please try the troubleshooting tips in first post in this topic.

This did not produce the desired result; maybe you can help — does this help at all?

Through API v2, the measurement values are available via insights.

Adding the same meter via API v1 does work correctly; however, the plugin battery cannot be controlled through it.

Drop me a diagnostics report then.
