This has been addressed in the most recent RC9.

Fixed an issue that could result in "Zigbee is busy" errors.

There are already several threads regarding this issue, please use the search function.
Yesterday the experimental firmware v10.0.4-rc.9 was released and should fix this problem. But some users complain that the HP23 has become significantly slower overall after this firmware update.

Q1: The answer to this question is also mentioned in the first post of this topic.

fantross Thank you. Did not find that spesific info i 1’st post. And my misstake, The Q1 was ment as follows: Must both Homeys be on the same Zigbee channel?

As far as I know it is not possible to configure which zigbee channel to use?
The Homey’s will create each own zigbee network and hopefully not transmitt on channels or coexist. I think the controller (Homey here) will move to a non-busy channel.

As @Anders_Gregow already guessed, the Zigbee channel on the HP23 cannot be manually set or changed. With the HP19 this is possible, but a change of the channel after Zigbee devices are already added is not recommended, because otherwise some Zigbee devices can lose the connection, even if this doesn’t cause any problems with other systems, e.g. Phlips Hue Bridge.

Just got my 2023 Pro and migrated from my 2019. Seems to work OK (Z-Wave so and so but i guess that’ll fix itself in time). I’m having this issue where when i try to repair my zigbee devices i get the error “An error occured when adding a device, please try again”. This applies to all of my zigbee devices, powered or battery. I can add new zigbee devices just fine. I saw fantross’s post about RC9 and upgraded to RC10 but it still doesn’t work. I submitted a ticket to athom but they’re claiming a couple of weeks response time. Do anyone still have this issue on RC10?

A factory reset while on RC10 did the trick, repairing zigbee now works.

Hi, my Homey Pro 2019 died, I purchased a new Homey Pro 2023 to replace this. I restored from backup and deleted my old Homey Pro as it was confusing.

Homey appears to work fine but when I click any any Z-wave device (I have a lot) it says “invalid node ID”. How can I fix this please?

Try to install latest experimental version and restore the backup again, in case the latest exp. version will not help right after the upgrade.

I just received my new homey 2023. I had the old 2019 with backups.

installed the 2023 waited and saw all the icons coming back. however I cant seem to get the devices t repair:

I dont have that in contrast to this picture:

The menu item “repair” is only available for zigbee devices, if I’m correct.

So, just to feedback. This was a user error, and hopefully will help others.

I did do a complete restore, and thought that the apps were automatically restored, but they weren’t, and then obviously you cannot repair any of the devices. after installing the apps, all went great (not done yet, so fingers crossed)

I was under the impression that apps would be automatically installed on the 2023 after restoring a backup from the old device. Are you saying that did not happen for you? You had to manually reinstall all apps?

It should install automatically, but you need to wait some time.
Also it only installs apps that are in the Homey AppStore and are compatible with Homey Pro (Early 2023)

If you experience issue’s with the automatic installation I would suggest

  1. Create a Support Request and sent Athom the Diagnostics from Homey - Settings - General.
  2. if you can’t wait, Try Restarting Homey, and/or install Apps from the AppStore.

unfortunately, or actually not too bad, I installed all apps myself, and after that all went ok

So yes indeed, it did not install automatically. And I think I waited 8 hours (installed in the morning and came back after work, and still not installed

I just did the migration and all went well.
All apps vhere installed.
After repairing zigbee units all are up and back as normal, but much faster.

Just shut down your Homey 2016 and then shut down your main power for 30 seconds, now power up again wait for 1 minute and then start installing your Homey Pro.

Then you know for sure no device is connected towards your Homey 2016.

If you put the Homey 2016 on again you can have issues again.

Hello, your opinions please.
I am planning to switch from Homey Pro 2019 to Homey Pro 2023. In several contributions, a problem with Z-wave and Zigbee devices is mentioned after the HP2019 to HP2023 migration. I couldn’t find a solution to the Z-Wave problem anywhere.
What is the latest experience with migrating to the new Homey Pro 2023?
I have about 130 devices (z-wave 70, Zigbee 15, WiFi 40)
Various brands (Fibaro, Tuya, Neo Coolcam, Meros, Innr, HUUM, Heatit, Shelly, Qubino, Netatmo, Danalock, Everspring, Harmony …)
For now, I’m worried about the migration and I’m still postponing it even though the HP 2019 memory is almost full.
For now, I’m keeping the system and applications updated to the latest versions and I’m waiting.
Thanks for all the opinions and advice.
I apologize for my English and greetings from the Czech Republic
Alex
