Yep. Waited 10 minutes twice.

I dont think we have encryption in The Netherlands also the homewizard dongle works fine

I had exactly the same with wifi didn’t except passwords told me it was incorrect crashed and led was red. With usb power and reset it worked. At least till the wifi because it can still not communicate with my smart meter

Fair point.

This is what the knowledge base says:

Ah thanks for that
Would have been nice info for the short manual but fair enough.

It’s working now but via a p1 splitter i had. Directly on the meter it doesn’t work for some reason

Have you tried it with a USB-C Power supply on the Dongle?

Yes, still same issue really weird. I had to power the splitter with a micro usb and it worked. Now i can remove the power cable and it is still working but only in the splitter. Maybe i can try again directly in the smart meter but the installation should not go like this

Splitters should definitely be externally powered imho.
Just FYI, I’ve Homewizard, Zonneplan and SlimmeLezer+ P1 dongles, none of them works along with a second dongle, with an unpowered splitter.

Here’s all info which is provided by the Energy dongle:

Same issue with the Landis Gyr+ E350 SMR 5.0 as user Elmar.

Smart meter not delivering data to dongle.

Seems there is an issue with this combination.

Reset done 5 times on the dongle with and without usb-c power.

Sent in a diagnostics report twice and awaiting solution.

At least Elmar got it working with a P1 powered splitter in between. But unfortunately I don’t have one available for now.

No problems here, plug and play!:ok_hand:
Plugged it in my HW splitter and go!
And in Homey I like it more than my HW dongle.

As already said in another topic:

Finally received the dongle today
Unfortunately it doesn’t work
Adding it to homey seems to work, connecting to wifi seems to work but then it tries to connect to my smart meter and after a short time it says it’s not able to retrieve any data from the meter.
If I skip this step, homey says the dongle is not connected.
If I try to make a diagnostic report, it says there is a problem.
Readding the dongle doesn’t solve anything, reset to factory default doesn’t solve anything.
My smart meter is in the list of compatible meters (Landys + Gyr 360)

I even completely turned off the power to maybe restart the smart meter (not sure if anything restarts on the meter)

Not happy with my new toy yet…

Same as me and @Daan_S i only made it work using a p1 splitter. Setting up with usb power afterwards its working without.

Yes, I have a HomeWizard splitter and with that one it is perfect working. Without it is having a problem. But it is great working here and good that you have to work it too.

Which P1 splitter do you have ?
Maybe it works also for me…

I have a little problem with the correct data. Monday I had good data information, now I have the Homey Dongle and I see not the same information.

In the homey app I have used 4 kWh and HomeWizard app 2 kWh?

This is Zonneplan info. You see that HomeWizard is the same with Zonneplan. The information on Homey Dongle is an
other information?

Can I use the Homewizard and Homey Energie Dongle at the same time?
