Do I need to something special for this app?

Nothing special. You need to install windows or Mac software to have HCS access your Homey. On the HCS website click upper right green area, click the top icon to start or info for FAQ

Works as a charm. Do I need something for the Nest Hub Max? Can’t see the device. Also did not see the option to activate this in the google account (last stage of the setup)…
Added smoke detectors, doorbell and thermostat.
You should be able to add a Max, have one myself. There is a problem though with events not being passed from Google to applications. That is something Google needs to fix.

Hi, I have no control on what Google has as payment methods.
Be aware that Google charges a one time 5$ fee to be able to use the Nest Device Access Platform and API (not the same as a donate to the developer of this app).

I can not make my flow work. I have made a flow that when Google cam detcted a motion then it must send a push message to me. When I do tests, I get the push message. but when the it’s a motion I do not get anything from Homey only in Google Home
Do you have any idea what I’m doing wrong?
Will check it out, what device are you using?

The new Google nest cam and doorbell on battery.
looks like an issue on battery devices, will investigate and issue fix asap
First impression is that the Device does not publish motion events into the Google PubSub. I do not see any events for motion coming in for my battery device. The mechanism is documented exactly the same for battery and non-battery devices, and they appear on my other wired cam devices. In the Home app i see the events on the timeline, but i do not het Push messages, though i have enabled these… this will take a little tinme i am afraid
I just received a push message from PubSub for Motion, so it does publish this, but it is highly unreliable when it does do something…

I have the doorbell, google nest cam with floodlight (wired) all working on homey but for some reason, I got the new google nest cam (battery). I added it to google home and now am trying to add it to Homey but it says it can’t find the device. Is there anything special that should be done with the cam to get it to show up in Homey?

You probably need to authorize the new device to the app. Go to the app setup, logout and login again, it will ask for authorisation on the devices, this one will be not selected yet.

Hello @Martin_Verbeek … I have successfully installed your Google Nest SDM App on my brand new Homey Pro, and have connected my Nest Cam and Hello DoorBell; but when I want to connect to my 2 Nest Protect´s (Battery version) the list is empty … can you help?
Did you set up the nest legacy tab in the app? Protect work outside the SDM framework and the app needs a separate code for it.
