I can add the Tuya Zigbee switch in Homey Pro, but when I used the button in the Homey Pro app, I get a red message " Power on / off is not working " I also install the Tuya app in Homey Pro, but without success.
In Home Assistant the Zigbee power switch for Pc is working without any problem. Can you please tell me what I need to do?
In my humble opinion it should work as generic zigbee On/Off device.
But Tuya always deviates from standard (zigbee) specs. I"d stay away from it.
Next to the hints from @Dijker , you could contact Athom (homey.app/support), and request for adjustments to the generic zigbee driver, to have this switch working.
Zero guarantee it will be picked up though.
For support in Zigbee there is a community app you found, read the topic for how to get support in that app. But for a developer is could be difficult without a device to test.
Yes, but I want to use the Zigbee device directly ( local ), like it work without any problems in Home Assistant. In Home Assistand I use a Sonoff Zigbee 3.0. . The strange thing is that after I can add the Tuya Zigbee device to Homey Pro, it can see the Tuya device in the Home pro app ( by Zigbee device ), but I cannot use the button ( I get an error ).
I think that this can be solved by an firmware upgrade in Homey Pro
As opposed to Home Assistant (and many other platforms), it only has very limited generic Zigbee device support, for anything else you need specific support for your device by an app, and that’s that problem here: there is no app that supports your device.
You completely right. I am misunderstanding how Homey Pro works. I am using Home Assistant for many years, and I want to try something new. I thought that the Homey Pro Zigbee 3.0 support standard all Zigbee devices, like the Home Assistant. But If I understand your message right, I need to send a request to the " Tuya Zigbee app support thread " I will do that. Thank you
