Can anyone tell me what the current firmware version is? Does Aqara have a website where you can view the firmware versions?
I have integrated my FP300 into Homey via Matter. My firmware is 1.0.7.3. Is that the latest version?

That is the current firmware.
Hi Robert, can I harmlessly remove the matter bridge app?
Thanks. Where did you get this information, from the Aqara Home app?
I don’t know. Seems like a lot of people don’t understand the purpose of the Matter Bridge app and are now using it to bridge actual Matter devices to other controllers, so removing the Bridge app in that case would cause issues.
I currently have three FP300 sensors connected directly to the Homey via Matter.
The sensors are working perfectly. However, every morning, the devices are inaccessible. However, if I restart the Homey, the sensors work normally again all day.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
No
If I understand correctly, you have connected the sensor to the Aqara hub and I have connected it directly to the Homey.
No, I connected to Homey directly and then as shared device to Aqara hub.
Thanks!.
Did you firmware upgrade the sensor?
On wich version is the sensor now?
If you shared the device like this, you can delete the App.
You should share your device via advanced settings on the device to your aqara hub:
I just got my FP300s. I’ve got a G3 Camera Hub from Aqara, but all of my other Aqara gear is connected to Homey via the Aqara app.
I’m trying to make sense of this thread and am struggling, but I think the general guidance is this:
Is that correct?
No you can connect the FP300 directly in to the homey.
Really? How?
I tried via generic Zigbee in the Homey app and got a useless device that couldn’t be integrated into flows in any meaningful way.
I got two FP300 from Amazon.
I have all my Aqara devices connected to an Aqara E1 hub (stick) using Zigbee and then to Homey via Matter.
This also works perfectly with the new FP300 sensors.
Using an Aqara hub and Zigbee has many advantages: firmware updates for devices, very stable connections, full device functionality.
My two new FP300’s have replaced 8 other devices in my two bathrooms. And they work like a charm so far.
Thanks for that. It validates that #1 from my post is a viable option (though one I can’t pursue because I don’t presently have an Aqara hub).
Now I’m curious about how one would connect the FP300 directly to the Homey in a way that provides functionality (before the Aqara Homey app is updated, that is).
Add device –> Matter –> Scan QR code on the device
If I am correct, currently the only way to directly connect to Homey is via Matter. Zigbee is not yet supported.
I recommend investing in an Aqara E1 hub. It’s 25 EUR on Amazon. Perhaps you can even find it cheaper.
