After installing the test version, the issue still remains. I have tried rebooting both iOS devices, Homey etc.

Version 1.11.4 correct. Do you by any chance use any other beta versions of i.e Homey?

Hi,

We have now updated the Homey UniFi Protect app to the test version you sent us, but unfortunately we still can’t get live view working.

The issue is the same on both Homey Web on a computer and the Homey app on iPhone. Snapshots work correctly, but when trying to open the live view, the screen stays black and eventually the camera becomes unavailable.

Could you please let me know what settings other users who have live view working are using under the camera settings in Homey?

UniFi Protect provides me with an RTSPS URL in this format:

rtsps://xxx.xxx.x.xx:7441/xxxxx?enableSrtp

Should I enter this exact URL in the RTSP Stream URL field in the Homey camera settings, or should that field be left empty?

I have also tried converting it to a normal RTSP URL using port 7447, but that did not give me live view either.

The Homey and CloudKey+ are on the same local network, and the dedicated Homey user in UniFi has Full Management permissions and Restrict to Local Access Only enabled.

Just curious, I bought some Unifi motion detectors, but if I try to add them and choose ‘sensor’ it doesn’t find anything, is the motion detector not supported as a sensor?

This might be part of what now appears to be a widespread issue with the Homey app when streaming high resolution video.

Please don’t enter your own RTSPS servers / addresses because Homey does NOT support RTSPS. The app will automaticly use the RTSP address what is hidden in the UI of protect.

So don’t enter a rtsp address url manualy on each device, when you enable a RTSPS stream it automatichly detects the url on app startup. When enabled please restart the app.

It feels you find the bug, because the streams are working on my tablets, phones and browsers (all ipad, iphone or mac book)

Is there a way to get this integration to work when Fabric is enabled in Unifi? This prevent local users to be created.
