Thank you very much! You can already use the new version
The development gets resumed once I have my Homey back.
A new test version is available!
Changes:
- Updated Settings Page
- New App Store image (I’d love to hear your thoughts!)
- Support for latest’s Homey-Api
- Significant Figures
- Homey Pro 2023 support
- Bug fixes
- A cache has been added to reduce the frequency of timeout errors.
Please post any problems or suggestions in this topic.
Best regards ![]()
I think new App Store Image is reallt nice. If I would change anything it would a slightly more contrast in background. I did not recognise the arrow behind the app name at first.
It is a nice feature to be able to tap on curve an read data!
I miss an update button or something else that make it easier to update after change of time span. The only way I have managed to do this is to remove a character in end of Insigts name and enter it again. Then curve and statistics are refreshed.
Good work again!
I needed to restart app.
But now something is wrong with the search function. For example if I search Temperature all device names are Unknown and no curve or statistics.
I confirm
Overall however great job @spkesDE , I was never thinking you will produce even better app then MadMonkey, thank you !
Oh, i think they changed the Homey API for the HP2023.
I released a new test version so I can debug this error. Could you search for a Insight then create a diagnostic report?
Thank you! ![]()
Version 1.0.12 - Still device name Unknown and no curve/statistics.
@Morgan could you create a diagnostic report for me? So I can figure out the issue?
Too quick, my Homey even can’t install new releases so quick ![]()
Tested and it’s the same - Unknown and Empty.
…tried…got error Request Entity too large ? But might be problem of my Homey maybe…

Yeah, what i though. API changed for Hp2023. Will fix it ASAP
And done
Should
hopefully fix it. @Morgan
Edit:
@Sharkys confirmed it was working. I will release this version in a couple of days if no bugs are reported.
Because I don’t have any features planned for the time being.
How do you check if the code is running on the old or the new Homey?
I can’t because I only own the HP2023, but Sharky did ![]()
Yes last version works ![]()
Comments:
Trend value often is zero with significant figures activated because it is small values. Maybe exclude trend from significant figures?
Last value seems always be 0?
I meant, do you have a conditional statement in your code so it will run both with the old and the new data format? Or did you now break it for all older Homey’s? ![]()
Check out your slack robert
@Morgan what do you say to these 3 versions?
Will add a toggle for that ![]()
Not for me, depends what Insights you’re looking at.
Somehow Spykes, it looks like you are watching out, from within a mouth.
See those big teeth(s)?
Looks good tho ![]()
