I know the Homewizard Plugin Battery has a micro-inverter that is limited to 800Watt but know the Marstek has a different one that can go higher. …

Thank you for your reply and your further questions. The Marstek can handle a maximum of 2500 watts, which means it remains within the specified maximum load: max. 3680W (16A), continuous load: 2760W (12A) of the Homewizard Energy Socket.

Ok just to be sure you are not creating a potential overheating risk. I am currently on a holiday break but will add the socket code when I return.

Just an interesting question. Why do I have different insights for the batteries? Could this be due to migration from Homey 2019 to 2023? And how to fix it? Current power of battery 1 gives no data. So something is not going well there. Remove and reinstall the device? [IMG_3886] [IMG_3887]

Thanks for pointing that out. I think it is also relevant that I recall Johan using the beta/test version of my app which hadv some glitches with capabilities ealier so (my error but part of the job/risk of beta).

Is it recommended to “update” to the new api for everyone, or just the ‘battery users’?

AFAIK it’s only useful for HW battery owners.

A general tip: You can also remove obsolete Insight items via the web app:

If a capability provides insights and you (accidentally) removed it, it will be recreated by the app. You might need to restart it.
