[APP][Pro] HomeKit Controller - for a better Homey

I’m having some trouble using tis app, or maybe just understanding use cases. I’ve tried adding two Airversa air filters. They are the model AP2, which are Apple HomeKit native devices communicating via Thread to my Apple Home hubs.

I’ve tried to add the via the HomeKit over thread, but, it doesn’t see them. My suspicion is that Homey uses it’s own Thread network and never looks at others. The Thread network created by my Apple Home hubs is never seen by this app.

If I’ve gone off the rails somehow, kindly let me know. If there’s a way to make this app, or Homey Pro itself use my preferred Thread mesh network, that would be nice too.

Hi Martin

i have just added a FP2 sensor and set it up in the Aqara app with zones and all,and i can see it in apple home kit
as i now understand it i should be able to add it to homey with the home kit controller app and hom IP but absolutely nothing shows up ??
i just cannot figure out what im doing wrong

It must be removed from apple home. Scroll back to post #1

i think i hav removed it from home because i cannot see it anymore in home
but still nothing shows up in homekit controller
unless there is another setting i needd to remove in home

Can you pull the power on the fp2 and back, wait a few minutes until it advertises itself on the network again.

still nothing shows up :frowning:

should i connect apple home with the button connect to ecosystems in aqara app ?

Hmmm. That should not be needed. Can you restart the app and after a few minutes try again. If still nothing showed pm me the log, you can access that via the app settings, configure, log, copy to clipboard

hello again Martin
now i have been setting up zones and stuff today but made a mistake and had to redo the zones and now when i add the sensor again it shows in the aqara app as a induvidual sensor pr zone but when it adds to homey there is no zones following the device ??

have tryed to reset and add again buit it doesnt help

The app should sync the zones that are available and remove the ones that are not. So normally there is no need to remove the device in Homey.

What did you do in the Aqara app?

Do you factory reset the device? If so, so have to remove it from Homey as well.

If you did a network/homekit reset, it could be that it is in Apple Home app again.. check that one and remove if so.

Pull the power and wait for a few minutes, and then try again on Homey.

i removed device everywhere and did a factory reset and i do find the device again in homey but when i search there is 2 devices available but nomatter which one i select none of them have the 4 zones i have created ??

damn i should just have edited the zones and left it to sync instead
