No luck. I can’t get it to connect. I’ve already restarted the app and tried connecting again, but it doesn’t work. I’ve also restarted Homey, but it just can’t find the device.
I am loving the potential of having homekit devices only in homey through this app. Have done this with two Ecobee Smart+ light switches. This is running off the self hosted server version of Homey. Initially the Ecobee Switch+ stayed connected solidly, so I added another one. These switches are next door rooms. FYI - when they were connected through the ecobee app and to Apple Homekit they did not go offline for years in these locations. I have to reset this app quite often to get it the devices working again.. I am testing only with the two switches as they are in good non essential test locations. The two switches are connected to homey slightly differently. One is connected to the Ecobee app first then paired to homekit. The other one had an option i hadn;t seen before - but after fully restting, my iphone, in the WiFi settings showed the network created by the switch and allowed me to connect it directly to my WiFi network without using the Ecobee app.. then I used Homey Homekit app to connect it… both ways have added it to Homey and fully controlled, including the motion sensor built in to these switches.. but they are not staying connected.
I have just set up the FP2 via this app and followed the instructions closely I believe.
How do I now use presence/occupancy as a boolean in advanced flows as a condition? I only see “Motion alarm turned on/off”, which I assume is a trigger, when presence changes from on to off or vice versa, correct? Is there a state variable such as occupancy = true / false that can be used?
Any advanced flow examples (screenshots) of how folks are using the presence sensor to achieve the following would be much appreciated, i.e. I want to not switch lights off automatically while the room is occupied
Reset the homekit info of the Tado Internet bridge by pressing the reset button for 10 seconds until the leds start flashing. After that wait a couple of seconds and add it to the homekit controller.
@Martin_Verbeek i’m noticing a lot of problems with my FP2 since the update… as in: it doesn’t notice me anymore.
When i open the Aqara app, we are visible on the map. When i open Homey, it doesn’t. When i restart the app, it works again for like 20 minutes or so.. I never had to restart the app and worked flawlessly until now.
Something changed in the new update? When i try to repair the sensor i get the error message “Driver (id:hapIP) is missing function repair”.
