These cards both toggle between Rest/Ready:
- Toggle Heater to Rest
- Toggle Heater to Ready
I suppose you should add some checking, if the toggle is needed or not?
So when action card Toggle Heater to Rest is called, then check if HeaterMode is not Rest, then toggle.
So when action card Toggle Heater to Ready is called, then check if HeaterMode is not Ready, then toggle.
That has been confusing until now that I had time to debug the problem.
New app update (

FIXES:
1: FIX: add check before heater mode function to align with the flowcard

Hey @martijnpoppen , when i manually change the target temperature on the spa (CMS-module), the Balboa app does not update the target temperature value. Tried the manual refresh button and restart of the Balboa app (v2.2.12). The CMS app updates the value to the correct one. Can you take a look at it?
Sent a diagnostic report, if it can be for some help.
Regards
Marius
@Marius_Stensrod so did it work after restart or not?
@martijnpoppen , neither the restart or the manual refresh button solved it.
I have the module with bwa spa control. It works fine except that the temperature shows 38 degrees C in homey when it has no reading at all in the standard control app (no recent temperature readings)
@Johan_R known issue.
Work is in progress in BWA. See also the reported issues [APP][Pro] Balboa - #402 by Bartj
Also, when the value is invalid, in this case there are no readings. It will stay like it was in Homey. Theres not way to set the temperature to nothing
But if the most recent temperature was like 30 degrees it always shows 38 when it has no reading (not the recently value). Is that intended?
Depends on what Homey receives
Please send a diagnostic report
Hi Anders, did you make this work in your setup? Seems that I can’t go from low to high range, but only high to low… BR - Arne - DK
Thx Martijn ![]()
Hi Arne, as you say it only works one way, from high to low. The solution I use is to keep it in low temperature range all the time, and then have temperature set to different levels between 18-37 degrees depending on the electricity price. Then if we want to use the spa, and 40 degrees, I use the Balboa app and set it to high temp range and change it to 40 manually. Would be better to be able to make a flow that change from low to high temperature range and then to 40 degrees automatically but that isn´t possible today. @martijnpoppen has been working on it but it seams to be a bit tricky to get it to work.
I found out that the Gecko in.touch2 has an Amazone Alexa skill named: “My Spa Control”. This skill allows you to speek to the Spa through Alexa devices. Athom Homey has an app for Alexa. Alexa also has one skill for Athom Homey so any devices in Alexa can be reached from Athom Homey and the opposite way. The problem is that I cannot find out how the skill: My Spa Control can be added to Alexa as one device. If this was possible, then it would appear in Homey and I assume that this problem would be solved. I have found out this about Alexa: Smart Home Skill APIs | Alexa Skills Kit
Is there anybody who is able to make the Skill appear as one device in Alexa?
