@Jonas_Almquist make sure to remove any special charcater form the password. We know a @ does work. Other unclear
Hi, the only special character she has in her password is “!” but i also have “!” in my password.
@Jonas_Almquist that’s strange. Can you send a diagnostic report where the issue is reproduced. Every report you send until now didn’t have that information.
So try to add it and when it fails immediately send a report
I just tried again and then sent a report ![]()
He martijn … just to let you know .. for me its very stable and no mails ![]()
Still getting login emails from my Apple every two hours is there anything I can try or do? I already restarted the app and repaired the lock but nothing changed

@Michel_van_Lier nothing you can do, it’s a known issue with apple, all integrations have it, sitll i made a lot of changes to make sure the emails are to a minimum, will check your report for more clues

@Jonas_Almquist above release should fix your issue
Wohoo! nice!
It worked! =)
@Jonas_Almquist great! the reports really helped ![]()
@Michel_van_Lier I have a theory.
Dennis just replied it worked for him. He has a interval of 15 minutes, you have a interval of 2 hours.
I think apple invalidates before the refresh; causing a email. To confirm that theory, can you lower your interval to 15 minutes and let it run for a while?
Hi martijn .. i have a 2 min interval during the day .. when i go to bed its 15 mins
Hi Martijn,
This is an odd one, but I have noticed when I leave home (like I did yesterday for a few hours) I have a Flow that reduces my server update interval from every 2 minutes to every 15 minutes. And vice versa when I return home. I couldn’t tell you after which exact version update it started, but I have started receiving the dreaded you account has been used to log in to iCloud emails every 15 minutes when I leave home, and then they stop arriving once I return home. As the account authentication timeout is longer than 15 minutes, I can only assume this is a bug, it’s only started after one of the more recent releases. And my Flows related to this haven’t changed in a long time.

EDIT: I also noticed while I was away from home, the battery level didn’t update, despite the location details updating every 15 minutes. But if I manually ran my Flow that includes the Update Server THEN card, the battery level immediately updated, along with my location. (I nearly forgot to mention this… stupid brain ha ha.)
I have the same 2/15 setup only then 15 mins for sleep .. i do not get the mails. Still weird stuff
I was more thinking along the lines of it being when I leave my home WiFi it was triggering the emails at every update interval, rather than it being the change to a 15 minute update interval that was causing the emails, but just the interval they are triggered at when away from home.
The change in network connection could be causing the triggering of the re-authentications and emails?
Hmm … then you could try to switch the wifi off to trigger the mails if that is the case right ?
I have zero signal in my house, so WiFi is the only connection I have at home (using WiFi Calling for calls and SMS). It’s lovely living so close to hills and countryside… but the mobile service sucks ![]()

I just tested from my side and switched wifi off fir a couple off hours

I’m investigating and have a small fix, hope that works. Will release tomorrow
