Senior IT Engineer that’s worked in IT for 30 years, and I like to tinker around with tech at home. I swore I’d never have a home assistant or smart devices, until I became disabled. So now the more I can automate my home the easier it makes my life!

Mostly Zigbee and WiFi devices. I have a couple QNAP NAS (only one populated with disks at present). A small rack full of Raspberry Pis running recursive DNS servers, ad blocking, NTP, VPN etc. And a small rack full of networking kit… I do like to tinker ha ha

Apart from computers, my interests include: listening to music (rock, prog & metal), watching movies, photography, collecting (mostly swords and starships, or anything dragon related) and the occasional bit of DIY.
