[APP] Aqara & Xiaomi Smart Home - Simplify your life with a smarter home

Maybe you only need to perform a factory reset if you haven’t created a local backup before. That’s mentioned in the thread, after all.
@Peter_Kawa, can you confirm or clarify that?

My T1M lights Are not working as usual since last update 2 days ago. Seems like it detects some kind of ghost-signal. Works fine when I unplug Homey, so issue is between Homey and aqara

I just installed the experimental update. And all my Aqara sensors work again. I would suggest everyone to install it. After that just disable experimental updates and wait for the next stable one. This update is only done to fix these issues so probably only some small changes.

I confirm that one of my H2 dimmer switches went nuts after Homey Pro upgrade with random on off behavior. Also understand that the experimental update will fix this, have not yet tried. We should expect a new stable release shortly?

edit: Another H2 dimmer switch I have, currently controlling Hue bulbs seems to work flawlessly!?

How can I check and potentially upgrade H2 firmware without having an Aqara hub?

I somehow still can’t get this to work with a seemingly similar hardware setup (1 aqara h2 EU dimmer w/neutral wire > setup in Zigbee mode > attached to Hue dimmable bulb). Any chance you could share a screenshot of your switch advanced settings as well as your working flow(s) so I might replicate?

I have an Aqara Multi-State P100 sensor and I connected it to my Aqara M3 Hub via Zigbee for the extra settings and firmware updates. It is set up in vibration mode. Additionally, my Aqara M3 Hub is connected to my Homey Pro via matter. It automatically brought the P100 into Homey but it shows it as offline and that the Matter device has been factory reset. Then it shows the P100 as a second device just for the battery. The icon is the door and window sensor icon for the device itself and for the batter a remote icon.

I know this is a newer piece of hardware but is there a way to have it identified correctly in Homey or am I just going to have to wait for some kind of Homey or Aqara app update?

Matter is fully handled by Homey’s core software, not by apps, so there’s nothing that can be changed/fixed in this app.

@Alex_Werner A smart dimmer controlling smart bulbs is not a perfect combo. I tried detached mode, but could not find a viable solution. For example, button press was not triggered and the blue ring light came out of sync with Philips bulbs.

I reverted to relay setup with minimum dim set to 99 and max to 100. Dimming is taken care of by flows. Works ok with some lag.

Wondering the same.
There is a When curtain motor state

Would it be possible to add a Then using the the same/similar values?
The flows now get’s super complicated and can’t be stopped by clicking it again which is sort of a base line function of a curtain.

So if I understand it is something Homey will have to address since it is connected via Matter through the Aqara M3 Hub? Not necessarily something Aqara needs to update the M3 Hub when sending the info/capabilities about the sensor being exposed to Homey via Matter?

It could be both, but this thread is only for the Aqara Zigbee app for Homey, not a thread that is managed or even followed by Aqara. If you feel like the M3 hub needs to be updated, you need to contact Aqara directly through their own support channels.

One more question: when enable it to get experimental updates and after that i disable it, i can wait without a reset to the next normal version. Is this correct?

Ha @mhemil thanks for your response and yes unfortunately it seems you’re very right about the smart/smart combo (smart switch dumb light works perfectly so far). Lagged response is better than what I’ve managed: mine when I dim the switch instantly dim the light panel to 0, even after setting minimum dim to 99 on the switch.

Any thoughts on my flow?

@Alex_Werner I have one flow controlling the dimming level :

In addtion to on / off behavior.

Negative. You need to do a full local USB backup to a PC (as detailed in Homey documentation, just search local USB backup and you’ll find it) Then when you want to switch back you reset your Homey and restore the backup.

But the fixed firmware for the Zigbee & Aqara devices has been released. I have already updated and it does seem to be working fine so far as I can tell over the last couple hours.

I have to disagree with your advice, Andy
You seem to explain how to roll back to a previous stable firmware version.

To wait for the next stable firmware release, one doesn’t need to change anything;
only to make sure RC versions are kept from being presented, just disable experimental updates toggle @ developer page.

JFYI One can force returning to the current stable firmware quite easy, as explained here:
https://community.homey.app/t/howto-pro-2023-mini-revert-from-experimental-to-stable-firmware/100752

In that case Athom need to change the warning in the Homey software that tells you that :man_shrugging:t3:

Ah @mhemil I’m back once again - can’t seem to get the flow to work for diming unfortunately… which variable are you using for your #Dim level? I’ve tried setting my own separate variables ranging from 0.25 till 1, and also tried setting variable to dim level of the bulb, etc. Nothing.

It is an Aqara H2 Dimmer switch included variabel, Dim Level or similar (I have Norwegian language unfortunately). No need to create your own variable for this.
