@robertklep

I have a question about my newly installed Aqara FP1E presence sensor.

It does not work consistently. It either does nothing when i walk past or toward it and suddenly it does but takes a long time to stop again. I have tried the low setting and medium setting but nothing seems to work. I see that it measures the distance to me but does not say movement or occupancy.

No, we don’t need a local backup anywhere in the process. A backup is only needed as safety net, in case something goes wrong.:

This was succesfully tested by 2 volunteers, as mentioned in that post.

That’s description is just not true! Maybe they try to scare folks to keep them for installing experimental updates ‘just for fun’, I don’t know.
Because of the time of writing that ‘guide’ it was before 2020, and with a Pro 2016-2019 you’ll need to restart to recovery mode and restore a backup. Even then a factory reset was not part of the procedure..

The procedures I wrote, for both pre- and post 2020 models, were tested by two volunteers with a Pro 2023 at the time of writing, and by me in the meantime, since last december.

hi @TedTolboom i purchased 3 Xiaomi Honeywell smoke sensors from Aliexpress, but am unable to connect them to your app / to Homey Pro. After clicking 3 times on the button, it simply does not proceed with the procedure. Is it perhaps because they are the chinese versions? Or doesn’t that matter?

@all Is there anyone else who might be able to say something about this perhaps?

EDIT: looks like I’ve found the issue. These smoke detectors are Bluetooth, not Zigbee! Apparantely they come in 2 versions (looking exactly similar), and Aliexpress only sells the Bluetooth version.

Hi!
Been trying to add the vibration sensor to Homey for a while and can’t get it working. The device shows up but is added as a generic Zigbee-device. When looking further into it the device ID does not match the one from the supported devices list (lumi-vibration.agl01 vs lumi.vibration.aq1).
Is there a fix to this or will the sensor need to be added?
Please see screenshot for more details

Thanks

Could it be that you have the T1 version of the vibration sensor? If so:

Hi everyone,

I have an Aqara E1 Wireless Switch (WXKG16LM). When I pair it with Homey, it gets detected only as “Unknown Zigbee Device”. The device shows battery information, but there are no button press capabilities, no flow cards, and no button events available.

Interestingly, pressing the button still turns Zigbee lights on/off, so the switch seems to be working on the Zigbee network.

Is there any way to add this model to the supported devices.

  • Manufacturer: LUMI
  • Product ID lumi.remote.acn003
  • Device type enddevice
  • Device ID 54:ef:44:10:01:5b:c0:b1

Thank you!
