Yes only now i get a message with “bad gateway” when i control the genie! It worked for 1 hour! Now its offline again! :thinking:

Following your recent update, we’ve noticed a significant increase in requests hitting our endpoints, which seems to be excessive. Just a quick reminder, we created a dedicated endpoint for you more then two years ago to avoid the need for constant polling of our main API endpoints.

I’ve already reached out to Emile directly to discuss this further.

For the time being, we’ve temporarily blocked access for Homey users to prevent any disruption. Let’s work together to resolve this as soon as possible.

Before that, the Rituals version had a lot of information on Homey Pro.
Now there are only two informational icons :slight_smile:

Now I get error forbidden not work again:-(

After reinstalling the Rituals iphone app, factory resetting and registering the Genie, adding the genie in the Homey Pro , everything works as it should be. :grinning:

I know this is a Homey forum, but the same problem with Genie hits other smart home platforms (HA etc) - we all have “too many requests” problem after pooling Rituals servers (http://rituals.sense-company.com/api/…).

Rituals support is unresponsive and there is no info on what to do with this.

Is anyone else experiencing issues while pairing? My lastname contains an apostrophe and that tends to freak out developers every once in a while, so I’d like to make sure that it’s a global issue and not just one with my account.

After the last rituals update my genie 2.0 is not responding! I have to restart the app every time i want to control my genie! Also when it has to trigger in a flow it doesnt work! Anyone else having this problem?

Rituals version: 5.2.5
Homey pro version: 12.4.3
Iphone app: 9.2.1.1734

I already contacted athom for this problem, and we are searching for a solution.
When you don’t restart the app, you have to re enter your username and password for the app.
Do you get the message that you are unauthorized?
This is what i get every time i want to start the Genie.

A few days ago, the Rituals app notified me that the password for the Account had expired.

After setting a new password for the Rituals-Account and using Homey’s repair function for the Genie, it has been running again with Homey without any issues.

Yes i allready did that! I made a new password and it was working for one time! After that it stopped working again!

I’ve changed the password also, and after that the problems started.

Yes for me to! I have tried to repair it again but still no succes!

I had another contact with Athom just now.
They are going to work on a solution, and as a temporary fix they advised to restart the Rituals app on a regular base to keep the Genie working.
In my case, i let the Genie run every hour for 15 minutes.
So every hour, i have added a restart of the Rituals app in the flow, for now it is working.
To be able to restart the app, you have to enable power user in settings → experiments.
