Does anyone know if the new IKEA Dirigera-hub will be supported to connect to from the homey? This because I have a lot of Zigbee Devices from IKEA connected directly to my Homey but now it is becoming more and more unstable.
Personally, I don’t think a specific app will come. But I do think it will be supported in the (near) future due to the fact that it supports Matter and the new Homey Pro also supports Matter. I therefor hope dat you can direct lights, plugs etc via Matter then.
Got it working for now trough home-assistant. Not the best way to do it, got a bit of lag, but they already support it.
I bought the new dirigera for the matter support, got a homet pro 2019 and is working fine so not going to buy a new homey pro just for matter.
Should be supported to offload the ZigBee load on the homey as I am also trying to move a lot of ZigBee devices now to the DIRIGERA as the homey is lagging ZigBee support when having a lot of devices.
So best would be to add this new hub to the homey control to integrate as that’s where the homey is for.
I think the existing IKEA Trådfri Gateways app might be a good base; did a “port scan” an the Dirigera hub today and see that its looks to act similar and also has a security code etc and should have API’s available on the ports.
Host is up (0.00098s latency).

Any new updates on the Diregera suport for Homey ?
The Diregera know for me works very good and very responsive.
It seems theyve updated their shit.

I see that I’m losing intrest in Homey due to the lack of this integration. Homey will be reduced to an integration bridge for unsupported z-wave devices to Apple and Google home.
Same here. Currently negative advising to buy homey as the integration is not supporting the Ikea is still lagging and looking into alternatives for the homey as integration hub and remove it completely.
Also the netamo stuff is not working correctly as the temperature can not be set due to wrong api call etc. So now have lagging support for two vendors already
Main reason is also to stabelize a large zigbee network, like having a lot of troubles with the homey to keep stable over time when having +60 zigbee devices in one network… so adding the hub makes it stable… (proven) but disconnected from the single controller…
so i moved now almost all ikey lights that are controlled by simple buttons and/or time based or motion detectors to the hub and using google nest hub to control them… as homey can not…
I didn’t realize there’s a Trådfri and a different Dirigera Smart Hub. Now I moved all Ikea things from Homey to a new Dirigera Hub, but I cannot connect it to Homey?!? Do I understand this correctly?
