When I look in the browser everything works fine. If there is a connection with the app, there are usually red exclamation marks next to all devices. This is since yesterday.
The day before yesterday the internet probably went down, because I had to reconnect all bridges and devices to the wifi.
This is not because of an internet outage. Possibly your modem got a firmware update (without notice?) and got reset to default settings.
In that case, Homey shoukd be added to your wifi again, just like you had to do with your other devices.
Pro 23: press the pin for 8s but not longer than 25s.
Pro 2016-2019: disconnect the power, connect the power, and after half a minute: turn Homey upside down;
Go to Homey app and choose āadd new Homeyā
This morning i reset the homey (blue rgb circle) with a paperclip and connected it to wifi. After that it still happened. Via the app it says āāsession not availableāā, but when i go to the browser it all works.
Itās about the app @Pavel_Kravarik Disable your phoneās wifi, to make it use your internet data connection.
Next, open the Homey app.
When it starts without issues, the authentication check (at Athomās servers) succeeded, and itās safe to turn phoneās wifi back on.
funny is that on the home wifi, all good.
outside.. 5g mobile data⦠i have to press refresh button few times in a row to get the devices..
otherwise session issue.
seems to be homey servers..
Port forwarding solved the āsession not foundā error for me. Since I configured the port in my modem, I havenāt had the error when Iām away from home.
But again though: did they explain the security implications of this? I can easily find many exposed Homeyās using a scanner like Shodan or Censys, and they all expose their cloud ID because the brilliant minds at Athom thought it would be useful to return it as default response when making an HTTP request to Homey.
Also, Athom only recently updated a vulnerability in a Node.js module that Homey uses, which made it dead-easy to perform remote DoS attacks on Homeys.
