Indeed, the issue was the 122.
I still haven’t received anything from Athom on this issue (reported 5 July) except that 2023 is a beta homey.
Is it possible to revert to a previous version without resetting the whole system?
For me the issue started today. I dont get it, i already set all responces to minimum. Every device i use is from official apps(fibaro, heatit, aeotec and idinio). Installed everything as requested… how come nothing is secured?
New firmware out this morning but no mention in change log of the z-wave issue.
Not sure if i should try it or not.
Got the update to 133 yesterday, no improvement on the Z-Wave issue.
Latest is now rc.137 - with improved logging, maybe they are trying to identify root cause while having more logs (maybe yet they shoud tell…)
What the hell, can’t be much worse than the current firmware !
Going to pop it on and hope something has improved.
Installed/Updated to 139-Beta. For me the Problem is not solved/fixed.
same here - this version 139 is the worst version ever…
Mine is still the same.
Just had an email that the homey is being properly launched July 31st and that is when the early access phase ends.
Going to give mine until then and if it still doesn’t work im going to ask for a refund because it just doesn’t work.
It’s frustrating to say the least. While I have made an effort to keep all critical solutions wired or with redundant input outside of homey, the WAF is plummeting at home.
Those of you with this problems, which devices do you have?
Fibaro, Aeotec, Neo Coolcam, MCO Home, Heatit and some more.
Yes, but this has been discussed on Slack and above multiple times. Changing the update intervals doesn’t change anything for my situation and some others. Next to that deactivating the Aeotec app doesn’t make a difference. Also, other devices from other brands show the same behavior.
I know you are tracking it but not everyone…if that works for someone, could also for someone else.
My issues to add to this list:
- cubino shutter controller operates total randomly. Sometimes on it’s own starts operating the shutters, gives timouts. Completely unreliable. Worked before the updates.
- my zigbee lights are connected through philips hue, the lights are working fine from hue or hue essentials app, from homey impossible to turn them on off change dimming without facing some kind of error. If i turn them on they dtart blinking 3 times then turns on, from this point impossible to turn them off. If i press off blinks 3 times again then remain on. While homey app shows them that they are off.
I don’t dare to add more devices or bother to start any kind of optimizations because it is impossible to test it with all these malfunctions.
Homey is a compelte mess. Disrespectful towards the users to sell something half-ready. Or pay them for being your guinea pigs. Or offer discount, free service. Anything to make up this suffering.
Cherry on cake, support response time is 2-3 weeks. I assume they are flooded with complaints and issues. Joke.
So without any activity from Homey, it starts operating? That would be very strange… what shows you the ZWave dev. view? Have you tried to repair them?
…so you are using Philips Hue app - ? - [APP] Philips Hue by Athom - #386 by Daniel_S - seems someone already reported that, try to ask how this user resolved it…
I abandoned Philips Hue Bridge 3 years ago and controlling then via Homey directly, I don’t regret it - they works flawlessly for me on both HP19 and HP23.
Anyway, unless Athom is aware and working on fix, maybe you can try with Matter? I read somewhere that it’s in Beta already, isn’t it?
Yup, here too with a couple of Fibaro Relays. Out of the blue they’ve switched ON twice so far, both controlling my irrigation valves. Nothing in the time line. Once happened after a Homey reboot. That never ever happened before in 6 years since my first Homey.
I have mostly fibaro, and only one aeotec multisensor 7.
I have not been able to find a pattern with the error, sometimes it works for over one/two days without issue and last friday I had it 3 times in one hour. That was for me the end of 2023 homey pro.
In the meantime, I also received the email that as of 31-7 the beta test is over, so very curious how this issue will be resolved, as now it is not due to the beta phase.
Since 2 days I am fully back on the old homey, and not a single issue since then.
Thursday I finally received a reply from Athom after 2.5 weeks. After basic questions and responses (and closing the ticket!) within half a day, I have not heard anything back when I indicated that I did put all the sensors now to report every 600(!) seconds in the settings and send them the log and the diagnostic report. Will ask for status update on Monday again.
