Bridge was to far away from Homey Pro. PTP and place it closer to Homey Pro did the trick.
81 version is the latest one, I believe you canât force update
hi @robertklep what do you mean PtP ? I actually decided to go and shop online for some Zigbee power plugs to extend my zigbee signal around the house but do you have a recommended or tested plug ? does it also have to be Aqara or any other zigbee based brand will still extend the signal to aqara devices ?
First hint: Search results for 'PtP' - Homey Community Forum
Create ticket for Homey support including system diag, remove the device and add again - I bet it will be added 2nd time correct. Maintenance for some reason didnât work for me in the past.
I want my campervan as smart as possible. I already have decide to use site magic with unifi to access my home network on the road so wifi devices shouldnât be an issue.
I thought homey bridge as a satellite for zigbee would be ideal.
As I read this topic, for now itâs just a repeater. What bummerâŠ
Fiddling with home assistant or the 2019 version with homesh i guessâŠ.
Satellite mode could be such a great tool for second homes.
Implementation is far from great as i see it.
I bought a bridge for my dad to do some basic stuff and its not great at that either.
3 extra euroâs a month for a bridge to use as satellite ?
Where did you read that? Itâs not what user Vnet wrote.
- Homey = cloud based, free for max. 5 devices, âŹ3/month unlimited use
- Homey bridge = a âdumbâ piece of hardware, one time purchase (âŹ70 or so), adds local radio protocols to Homey, and can be used as satellite for Pro 2023 as zigbee/zwave router and secondary antennas.
No read, installed bridge as satellite and it quit working after 3 months. For further use I had to subscribe for 3.99/m.
Tsjoep, bye âŠ
Hanz reacted (6 months later!) on a Post from may 2023 with strange assumptions (HP 2023 12 months delivery?)
and bad workaounds (hen connect the homey environments using webhooks.)
where you already reactedâŠ
So letâs close and Archive this kind of not-fresh discussionsâŠ
