I would like to know if the LinknLink eMotion Pro (a mmWave presence and motion sensor) can be integrated with Homey Pro.
This device connects via Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz) and officially supports Alexa, Google Home, and Home Assistant (through MQTT / Motion2MQTT). However, I couldn’t find any information regarding Homey compatibility or an existing app for it.
My questions are:
Is the LinknLink eMotion Pro currently supported by Homey (officially or via a community app)?
Has anyone tried to connect it to Homey Pro using MQTT or another integration method?
Would it be possible for developers to consider adding support for this device in a future update?
This sensor is quite interesting for smart presence detection, and it would be great if it could be natively integrated into Homey flows.
If it is of any interest, I am working on an app for the eMotion sensors. The app has a built in MQTT broker, but it can also connect to an external broker if required.
It’s a simple setup if you use the internal broker as you can just install it and add devices like normal.
ATM I just have support for the eMotion Pro and eMotion Ultra. I am just waiting for an icon from Athom and then I will publish the app.
Note: you will need to configure the sensors in the LinknLink app to publish to the broker.
