How can i open automatically the homey dashboard by opening the homey app whithout clicking on it. I want to start it from the fully kiosk browser on a Galaxy tab A9
Welcome, Eric
You can do this with this Dashboards Controller app flow card:
Maybe youâll need to wake it up first:
The âbuttonâ trigger can be replaced with a motion sensor trigger card f.i.
The D.Controller app has to be connected with Fully browser first.
Instructions:
Where did you find app.homey?
When you go to Fullyâs âsettings > universal launcherâ, you can select apps you like to have in there.
Itâll show the internal app names you need to use to start those apps, like app.homey
AFAIK you donât need to actually add apps to the universal launcher, to be able to start apps on the tablet with Dashboard Controller.
Do you have a tutorial for a newbie?
(Click on the link to see details)
For Fully? Hereâs a howto:
That starts Homey. How do you get the dashboard ?
AFAIK you canât start Homey app with a dashboard view yet. Youâd request this @ Athom
The Homey app usually starts with the start page a.k.a. home-screen
The title of this thread (Auto startup dashboardâŚ) had me confused
Ah, I didnât read to well either
So the status is:
- Auto start Homey app @ tablet:
- Auto start Homey app with dashboard view â send feature request to Athom.
Or vote for dashboard web access here:

Is there a way to do it whit an Ipad (pro)?
Dashboard controller is only for android
Thanks again @Peter_Kawa. Your post certainly helped me setting up Dashboard on a Android tablet. It was a couple of hours finding how things work but weâre almost there.
As @Henk_Renting already mentioned: The app has started, but not yet in the specific Dashboard I configured. Thats up to Homey. I hope they read this forum also, because this is a thing more people ask.
I also hope they include an Dashboard user, dedicated for displaying only dashboards. At this moment it is possible to exit the dashboard, and disable Heimdall Surveillance without any authentication.
YW!
Officially not
You can add requests here:
Or create a topic if you canât find a similar existing one, with the category âDashboardsâ
Noticed that the home screen is configurable like a dashboard (iOs). Are there differences in functionallity to dashboard tab? Works for me so far.
And it start with it.
Best regards
Jan
