Are there people here who use fully kiosk icm honey dashboards

If so, which version?

Browser or fully app and do you have the free version or paid version and what are the settings

I now had fully browser but the homey app closes and then jumps to fully browser

The Homey dashboards are not available as web pages, unfortunately. Fully Browser - which is a web browser - is not an option for them.

You can use the Fully Single App Kiosk, this app has similar functionalities as the Fully Kiosk Browser:

I’m sorry, but Fully is not exactly just a web browser, that part of the app’s name is just a detail.
It’s kind of a remote control app for tablets.

Fully can launch apps as well, like the Homey app.
Only Athom has to add a preference setting, so it will be able to have a dashboard screen presented at app launch.

Here’s all it can do

Control it with Dashboard Controller app:

Sometimes it goes away

Installed it

But after a while the homey app closes

FYI, we’re working on a native Kiosk mode for Homey Dashboards, that can only be exited with Face ID / Fingerprint / Pincode.

But then I can’t confrol the tablet for example screen of etcetera

It really needs this feature too as tablets needs to turn off when no one is moving or close by.

This is why the fully singe app Kiosk is nessesary. Unless the new feature from Homey will be able to do this in a flow too.

Are you using the ap too?

I have an problem
When I dim the screen turn off and next morning turn on it goes to the start page of fully or lost connection with honey device

AWhich one do you use Peter? Browser or app single kiosk?

When I use browser and do the screen via homey through a flow out it sometimes jumps on the front page on which I have to fill in a website to load

Do you know how to solve thisen

I use the browser version, but the Single Kiosk version can be configured likewise I assume.

  1. Start Homey app → do NOT start Fully app yet
  2. ! Now first open the preferred dashboard view !
  3. Hit the “III” button from the tablet navigation bar, to view the currently open apps screen
  4. Longpress Homey logo
  5. Select “Lock this app”

–>> Lock this app means: it won’t be set to background or sleep mode, so it won’t start with the home screen everytime the screen is turned on <<–
  6. Steps 1-5 need to be repeated after each tablet boot (but when do you reboot it, not very often)
  7. Start Fully app
  8. Slide from the left to right to enter Settings
  9. Navigate to Kiosk Mode
  10. • “Kiosk Mode”: enable
  11. Select: Single app mode
  12. • “Single app mode”: enable
  13. Select: Single App
  14. Now select Homey app
  15. • “Wait for Boot Completed”: enable (might just be a good idea)
  16. !! Now you start configuring what you should do in order to exit Kiosk mode !(default: tap screen 7 times very fast, enter pin 1234)
  17. Leave settings menu
  18. Enjoy

Great give it a try

I have it running for some time, no issues. In Manage Launcher Items add: app.homey/.MainActivity, I can get some screenshots when I leave from work.

@Peter_Kawa I do notice that if the dashboard is on for a while at some point everything gets very slow and also clicking on devices happens so it’s just a lot of delay

I close the app and start on something seems to work again

Lenovo tab P12 I use

Is that related at my side or

here the same problem with lenovo tablet and Homey dash. On apple there is no problem of slowing down.

Uhm is it the Lenovo then

It’s a brand new tablet ?

I bought a Lenovo tablet a while ago, but returned it again, SO SLOW!

Having a Samsung Galaxy Tab now, running smooth.

I’ve got a Samsung tab S2 which has the same delay.
On my Samsung 9+ the delay is not strong and acceptable.
My phone, also a Samsung, shows no delay

Nice to hear, complete different subject but are you also working on a live camera stream?

See the latest Homey podcast where Rmile tells they are…
