Another question.
My main matter hub is an apple HomePod.
Do I need to connect via iOS or homey pro?
Another question.
My main matter hub is an apple HomePod.
Do I need to connect via iOS or homey pro?
So does this work with Homey Pro without the Aqara Hub? I do not see it on the supported device list so my assumption is no.
Yes, bacause it is a matter device. Matter is a standard across all platforms that support it.
Not currently in Zigbee mode. I assume it does work in thread/matter mode, though not sure which functionalities are supported.
As I understand it, it will add to Homey as a motion sensor. But since its a presence sensor it will stay active (detect motion) as long as someone is detected, unlike a standard motion sensor that resets some time after motion has been detected.
I just ordered one, as my wife leaves lights on all the time. Thanks for the feedback.
I also ordered 1 to test this.
I also hope that the Aqare app will support this with the Zigbee protocol so that all fuctions are available….
Sold out on Amazon sadly….
But ordered 2 on 123LED
I have 3 of them since yesterday and works very good.
Google “aqara fp300 manual” and you will find the answer…
Can you tell us a little more about what protocol you are using, and just the honey app? Thank you.
I use treat and matter. No app needed
I used matter, just with homey. Connected within a few seconds. No Aqara hub or app needed, unless you want to update firmware.
Works like a charm.
NOPE: Search OTA Matter
OR:
I think he is referring to the Aqara app for Homey, not Aqara’s own app for mobile.
Okay I ordered mine today.
Do I still need the Aqara app on my phone? Or can I connect it to Homey directly as a matter device?
Got 1 i ordered yesterday. Today i wanted to order some more, but already sold out everywhere….
It worked fine with Matter and Thread, but not much config options.
That is why i hope they will add this to the Homey Aqara app real soon….
Ah, ok. I ordered also the Aqara hub M100.
I added the fp300 also through matter to this hub in the aqara app and then one can adjust sensitivity and update firmware.
It is also possible to connect to the aqara app via Zigbee at first, adjust settings, and then push the reset button 5 seconds to add to Homey through matter. It wil keep the new settings. (according to the manual, I did not test)
