[APP][Pro] Ubiquiti UniFi Protect

Hi there!

I tried to use this app but I cannot get it to work as I am using 2FA to login to my controller. Will this be supported soon?

I get this error message when I try to connect a camera:

‘Validating Unifi Cloud Key
Please add the NVR to Homey first and try again.’

I’m using a UDM Pro.

I have the same issue as well. Worked fine before. Now it stopped working and my flows responding on a ringing of the doorbell are not working anymore.

Any chance to add an action card that enables/disables the chime for de G4 Doorbell? Or set the length of the chime
The Home Assistant supposedly used to have this option but I’d rather stick to homey only :slight_smile:

I have a UniFi Protect G4 Doorbell, so it’s as easy as calling the service unifiprotect.set_doorbell_chime_duration and setting the duration to 0.
I still get phone and other notifications when the button is pushed! Just no indoor bell.

Hello, I´m trying to configure a smart detection event on my Dreammachine Pro SE with a G4 Bullet, but I cannot sselect anything:

What can I do?

Or do I understand something wrong and you cannot configure this card?

Do I have to make the configuration in my Unifi system. Which option do I have to configure to trigger smart detection events? Would this be correct for the camera?

This is only an trigger card not for changing settings

One of my camera’s seems to be “hanging” on a motion alert, it won’t go off. I tried restarting the app and rebooting Homey. Is there anything I can do to cancel this motion alarm?

Another thing I noticed is that the time displayed there, is not correct as the actual time was 2 hours later. Maybe UTC time is used in this overview?

Edit: Motion alarm is now magically reset again, so all good.

I’m trying to find the github source for this - but it looks like it’s removed. Was that planned? :cry:

I have removed the source code from GitHub. I am busy with finding some bugs on DreamMachine SE.

Hi, any idea why i i always get this error message? ( i use ip adress from UNVR, user name and password for an new local user account for Homey pro)

i have:
UniFi® Protect Network Video Recorder (UnifiOs)
3 of G4 pro cameraes
G4 pro doorbell

Thanks for a great app, is it possible to add the possibility to change notification settings “off”, “default” or “custom” in a thencard?
I would like the camera to record any motion 24/7, but only wants notifications when the alarm is activated.

What do you want to automate with the CloudKey? CloudKey has no actions only the devices that’s connect to it like a camera.

Is it possible that i can connect to your recorder? I think the UniFi® Protect Network Video Recorder (UnifiOs) has other software than the CloudKey and dream machine.

Start the ‘add device wizard’ in Homey, search for your UniFi Cloud Key and/or cameras and add them to your devices.

Well, that is the info from first post and why I asked the question. I would only used it for info purposes like temp, ram, etc.
