UniFi Access, UniFi Protect and UniFi Network are different apps.
I have combined UniFi Access and UniFi Protect integration in 1 app, only you must create two different API keys for them.

I have combined UniFi Access and UniFi Protect integration in 1 app, only you must create two different API keys for them.
But, when configuring your app there is just one possibility to enter credentials for 1 user and 1 API-key.
Where do I have to enter 2 different API keys?
I managed to switch from the network API key to an access API key for this app. I did not find any possibility to add 2 API keys (protect & access).
Now I am able to add all devices like the cameras & the reader. But, by pressing on the camera, homey tries to show zhe stream, which does not work. There is no error message.
Later I want to configure a „if a user shows its nfc-card to the reader & identifies itself“ then „open the door with the nuki app“ (another homey-app). Hope, it will work with these permissions:
I have a Yale lock and Unifi PTZ G6 cameras.
I’ve installed Unifi Protect and the relevant Yale apps, both seem to be working fine but I can’t create the flow I want.
I want my flow to do the following:
I can find the ‘Detect number plate’ trigger but nothing that allows me to specific the number plate.
It’s best to use the dedicated app topic, you’ll find the links on the app page at the app store.
Hello,
I’m using a UniFi Protect G6 Turret camera with License Plate Recognition enabled.
I would like the UniFi Protect for Homey app to be able to send the recognized license plate text to Homey when it is detected by the camera.
My goal is to create a Flow like this:
When the camera detects my license plate → Then my Shelly relay opens the gate.
At the moment, the Homey app only provides the trigger “Smart Detection: Vehicle detected,” but it doesn’t include the actual license plate text as a tag (for example, license_plate or Nummernschild).
Would it be possible to add support for sending the recognized license plate text to Homey as a Flow Tag or variable?
Thank you very much for your work on this app!
Tried to create a flow:
If someone with a valid nfc card (or toucpass) is recognized by the reader pro, the nuki door lock should open the door. But, this is not working. Also, opening the door „when a door access is detected“ is not working, too.
The Nuki app itself is working fine. Both, reader pro and the door hub are succesfully added devices.
Would be nice to get some help with this.
Did you add a NFC card in Protect? First test with a Timeline message. It’s working for many installations.
Yes, I added a nfc card… it is working with the reader itself. But it is not working with the homey-unifi-app.
What exactly do you mean with „first test with timeline message“?
It is such a pity… this is exactly the app I was looking for, but it is not working.
Can you send me a DM with screenshots from UniFi and Homey Flow and Settings?
Please enable first RTSP streams within the Share settings on the camera.
Can you test the latest test version? I hope i fixed it.
I have added the UniFi Siren in the latest test version.
This flow is with Loops and Heimdall app for Homey.
Could you tell me how to switch to beta/test-branch?
Sure? At the moment I do not want to use the cameras. First, I just want to tell the nuki lock to open the door after the reader pro saw a valid nfc card (touchpass) or.
Please send me first the screenshots in a DM and we talk there about your problems.
I removed the doorbell device and reconnected it. Using 1.8.7. all works again.
Is the app version 1.8.3 latest? I saw in Change Log the version is up to 1.8.17. My Homey Pro box stuck at 1.8.3 version. I can’t find a way to update to newer version unless I go with the test version 1.8.17.
1.8.3 is the latest stable version, next week I will try to publish 1.8.18 (the latest test version)
@ObelixNL is there already a feature request for the “line crossing”-alarm?
