I have the same issue.
First tried with app version 1.7.4, that was not working. Installed version 1.7.5, but that also wasn’t working.
Can you share your flow with me?
Hi all,
I can’t connect to my Unify Cameras. My thoughts are that it is because of the 2FA token, which I cannot enter and is off course variable.
Is there a way to grant Homey acces to my Unifi items without using the 2FA?
Hi,
I too can’t configure app to access Unifi Protect. I have created a local admin-user that I tested I can access protect and my cameras with, but I get “Status: Disconnected” or a popup with “aborted”.
I was thinking it might be a firewall issue, since I usually don’t allow Homey to access other VLANs than my IOT one. The cameras are on another VLAN called Cameras However, I tried several different traffic rules to allow Homey access to Cameras(and moved them higher in prio), but still no luck.
I also have 2fa, so I don’t really know which might be stopping me to get further… Any tips or ideas on how to troubleshoot further?
Homey must have access to the Protect application otherwise it wil not work. When you open the ports in your firewall between the two vlan’s and you have created an local admin account (read first post from the thread) it must be working.
For the integration we are using the local api and eventbus and not the cloud api.
I got it to a point where it seems it somewhat have access, it says the credentials are valid, but the status is still “disconnected”:
I temporarily disabled all blocking rules for VLANs to troubleshoot.
Ah, it got sorted with a restart of the Unifi Protect app.
I still don’t get it to work after the last updates.
A point of key importance here is that it worked prior to the update. I have, sadly, had automatic updates enabled. Therefore I cannot present when this occurred. But, the version I got it working with initially was: 1.6.17.
Any assistance is highly appreciated.
Did you test the test version? That has support for nfc and fingerprint.
Your flow is correct, is homey and the protect device in the same vlan / network? Look like the eventbus is not reachable
They are currently in the same network, yes. Slightly lost in the fault search currently to be honest. Is it working for others?
Edit: Spoke to a colleague with other unifi hardware, but the same versions of the different apps. His integration broke as well a few days ago.
I have the same issue. I have the same flow set up; notification when a fingerprint event is detected. But the event does not trigger somehow. Every other camera etc. is working perfectly. Is there something I can check or fix?
I have a G4 Doorbell Pro and a Chime. When I change the volume of the Chime to, for example, 5% via a flow and somebody rings the door the Chime keeps ring on the previous volume (in my case 100%).
When I go to the app I see the volume of the Chime dropped to 5% but in the web portal the volume of the paired chime is still reported at 100%. Difference between the app and web portal is that the volume in the app is reported at Chime level and in the web portal on doorbell level. So it looks like there are two values which can be adapted.
I’m using this simple flow.
Do somebody knows how I can change the right volume?
Has the user write / full access ?
Can you send me a DM? I want to look with you inside your configuration
“Unifi Protect notification has been disabled, because Flow has run too many times (homey:app:c om.ubnt.unifiprotect:ufp_smart detection).”
This is new. Running v1.7.5.
Since the latest updates my G4 doorbell doesn’t load the camera image anymore (also not when used in flows). The camera parameters (detections and smart detections etc.) are working. Meanwhile both my G4 bullets are showing their camera image. So it looks like something broke in de Homey unifi app for the camera image of the G4 doorbell?
