[APP][Pro] Telldus Live NEW DEVELOPER NEEDED :-)

Hi Terje , did you actually get the temp &hum sensor from Telldus to be recognized , do you have a screenshot , I still only get "failed to retrieve sensors " Iuse the latest test version of Telldus Live.

I haven’t had the need to add sensors. I only tested it with a smart plug, and I received error messages initially, as shown in this thread. But after 1-2 weeks, I managed to add it to Homey from Telldus. I have the maximum number of temperature sensors set up in Telldus, so I can’t test this. I’m reluctant to remove a sensor and add it again, as all my sensors have a critical function.

Hi Terje , Ok I understand, I have the same situation , I can reach my temp sensor from Telldus app but not within Homey Pro appliacation with one exception . I have one Telldus temp&Hum. sensor that is in the range of Homey Pro 433 , so that one I can see using the “Wireless sensor application” also

Update , I can now display my sensorvalues butvthey are not updating , usec120 sec poling , anybody ; what is needed to get the sensorvalues to be updated

Really loosing it with Telldus… seems to me that they have applied now strict 10sec rule and even then 2nd command rejected. Have you noticed same or related to something else.

Changed code now back to as completely unreliable to make any command from Homey side (wo checking every time if command accepted :face_with_monocle:

I’m using Telldus Local and since a few months I could only control existing devices, not add any new. Then I tried v. 1.3.1 and it works again.

I am completely new to Homey pro, but have used telldus live for many years. I have tried adding telldus live (all four keys). Now when I try to add a new device I keep getting a message that Homey can’t find any devices.

I’ve tried all kinds of devices and I keep getting the same message (no devices found) What am I doing wrong? Would be very grateful if I could get help with this, as I have quite a few devices configured on telldus live. looking forward to an answer,

To use this app local or live. Do I still have to have the Telldus Znet Lite v2 connected and up and running?

Since 2xweeks or so Get real data from Yellfus temp sebsors in Honey Pro 2023


Since yesterday around 3pm CETs seems that sensor data (only) from remote unit not received, while device commands keeps going thru wo issue.

Telldus app shows good connectivity so wondering if others with same conditions.

(till working old (back-up) control has taken over, but missing many features…)

And again, wo any reason / effort, sensor data back on 6am (1,5days later…) - so better not to trust any essentials to this…

I just got an Homey Pro and want it to work with my devices i Telldus Live so I used this app, got my keys from the Telldus API and added them all to the app as instructed but the got stuck and had the attached message. What does it mean and what should I do?

No i skipped using this app…

To close the loop, I think I found (dirty) way to solve it: restart app - never tried earlier for some reason :dizzy_face:

Now, if non of 3 sensors I am following is not updated within last 25+min (at fixed times every 15min), I will force auto-restart of Telldus-app (at suitable time for flows) and issue seems finally resolved when stated this morning

Just in case this would be useful for you: When I had one Telldus on same location as new HomeyPro2023, I moved all 433MHz HW directly connected to HomeyPro (Telldus still running as back-channel for me, ):

I have an other one 300km away and keep using Telldus app to fetch remote data online (with some challenges but as HomeyBridge cannot provide same, for time being went by this).

I have used Telldus Live Local v1.3.1 for more than six months with no issues. But suddenly it stopped working and gives error message, 401 == 200, and Telldus Local seems offline.
I have restarted application, Telldus gateway and Homey but it doesn’t help.
Any ideas?

I have the same issue, have you found a workaround other than restaring the app? i use Telldus as a range extender for sensors that are out og reach for Homey.

No, and actually as I was still getting sensor updates stucked, I nowadays even disable app if no updates for some time… added this to secure remote data pull.

As said before, Telldus is used in my case every 15min + 13min to push commands to remote location based on latest measurements and Homey script calculations. For this reason possible 15+2min to 7min not used anyhow…

Assuming less than 5min might be OK as well, but as no need to reduce, did not test…

I think hard to fix as looks to me that API-side blocking IP (or something similar).

Ok, I Will investigate further. The strange thing is that switches still work, so the API is functioning, it just seems that the app stops pulling new data from the sensors.
Could it be something with that if the telldus goes offline and the api is unreachable for some time and then comes line again. The app wont start pull New value again.

Could do an easy test, just to unplug the telldus for an hour and then plug it back in again.
