Meross did provide me with an OAuth API which will be used for Homey Cloud, since at the moment it only supports garage door openers and thermostats.

For Homey Pro I’m working on an API which combines the local HTTP and cloud MQTT connections Meross “offers” to support basically any device Meross has released.

@Doekse — really appreciate the work on the Cloud API integration! Wanted to add a vote for garage door opener (MSG100/MSG200) support, and flag two UX issues I’ve hit using the Community app’s garage door driver that’d be great to avoid if you’re building this fresh:

  1. Quick action toggle polarity: currently the button highlights as “on” when the door is closed — counterintuitive. Would suggest “on” = open, “off” = closed.
  2. Status text clarity: currently shows “Yes/No” (Yes = closed, No = open), which isn’t self-explanatory. “Open/Closed” text would be much clearer, especially for other household members glancing at the app.

Happy to help test once there’s a build to try. Thanks for all the effort on this!

I’m looking for a garage door controller for my Homey Pro.

Homey’s Best Buy Guide recommends the Meross MSG200:

However, when I install the official Meross app and choose Add Device, neither the MSG100 nor the MSG200 appears in the list of supported devices.

Am I missing something?

  • Which Homey app is supposed to support the MSG100/MSG200?
  • Is the Best Buy Guide outdated?
  • Does the official app support these devices at all?

I’d like a proper garage door device in Homey (open/close + status), not just a relay with separate flows.

Hello, yes i have the same situation, you must install these meross app as well… Meross | Homey

Currently i use both Meross Apps, the official app for the motion sensors and the community app for the garage door opener.
