Yes, that is what I mean, is the value there meteres?
I think it is in metres but as here are no units specified I could be wrong.
Yes it is in meters.
Earlier versions also provided Homey with the gpsLocation. It seems missing from the newest test version. Any chance you could include it again?
I use the latest (test) version too and here the gps location is still reported to Homey.
Could it be that thereās something else wrong?
Thanks. Iāll remove the device and recreate it with that version, see if it comes back.
Iām afraid thatās not itā¦
I installed the latest test version, and I only have the GSP accuracy:
when I install the old 1.2.2 version, then I get the gpsLocation also:
But there is something that is even more weird; no matter with what version of the app I create a new device, it wont add the gpsLocation capability. Not even with the 1.2.2 version. The applog show āUnable to set gpsLocation: Invalid Capability: gpsLocationā for new devices. Only the old devices do get updated, but only when I run the 1.2.2 version. The newer versions donāt have the gpsLocation capability at all, or so it seems.
@MarcelT I really miss this option, hope it comes back in a future version.
@Henk_Renting Any idea how come you do have the gpsLocation capability? And do you remember with which version you created the devices?
Ah, now I see what you mean.
As the device shows distance to Homey and gps accuracy, it does report gps location to Homey it seems.
Itās position is just not shown as a logic card.
I did not try that with older versionsā¦
Ah, okay, thanks for clearing that up.
On older devices (and when running the v1.2.2 of the app) I also have this:
With a Homey Script I can decode that to an address and trigger flows in that.
What if you search for āLife360ā instead of āgpsā? Then all logics cards of the device should pop up. Just worth a try.
Thanks for thinking along, but Iāve tried it all. The new versions of Life360 donāt pass the gps locations anymore, the capability is simple not made available in these versions. Version 1.2.2 does offer the data to itās deices, but only if the device has the capability, and currently there is no veesion available that can add devices with the gpsLocation capability. Apperantly my device that do have that capability have been created with an (to me not available) older version of the Conmect Life360 app
I certainly would like to contribute in testing this version. I looks a little more verstile and could potentially also replace my geofencing set up with IFTTT..
Just updated, works like a charm. Much appreciated!
Hmmm, spoke to soon, devices are not updating. Not even the last seen value

Any hint on what might be going wrong @MarcelT ?
Did you remove the device and add this again?
Yeah, I have 4 member in my circle, only three were added to homey. I have removed all three devices and recreated them all.

Iāv tried lowering the aync interval, but that doesnāt make any difference.
Hi @MarcelT,
Love the app great work! So far Iāve been using the IF blocks a lot to trigger events in my home. Iād love to use the phone statuses in the AND blocks as well. Couldnāt find whether this was requested yet in this thread or whether youāve already got this on your list of improvements. Do you have any plans adding this feature?
