Thanks, its the city that lookup fails.
Changed it to long / lat instead. Try .23 test version.

Nice, both settings are working now. Thanks

Weather forecast might be dodgy at start. It needs some samples next few days to learn your solar setup.

The delay when the AdvanceFlow is used to start the charger is to give my wife some time to put the charger-plug in the car

The delay when the AdvanceFlow is used to stop the charger is to make sure it is no just a momentary drop in usage.

Thanks!

It looks like the issues where not related to your App.

I re-created the AdvanceFlow and then it started working again.

Hi Jeroen, I am impressed with the Battery policy app but also have an observation/question you might want to consider. I have 3 HomeWizzard batteries each in a separate receptacle (phase) so 2400 W charging but only 800 W discharging for the system. I see in the Timeline messages the information in the picture, the battery can provide the required load 1227W versus 2400W capacity (heat pump running) However My system can only provide the mentioned 800W (one battery at any time). Is this a misunderstanding by me or do you might want to consider adding a parameter? the message was at 07:18 this morning so not yet sufficient solar power. In addition the batteries started discharging at 03:45 and at 07:18 the average SoC was still 80%. As far as I am concerned they can drain more over the night. Thanks for your work and I’ll drop you an other coffee.

Good catch need to check code. I seem to assume it is unlocked so allowing the potential watts per unit.

There is a special diagnostics in Homey - app - Homewizard- settings- policy tab and then at the bottom diagnostics please share me that information.

Yep, is this

Share me this bit please:

And thank you for your paypal donation

I do not see the link Diagnose, only Toon raw scores???

By the way I am on 3.14.24 and in the changeling 3.14.29+ is mentioned

Aaah right yes. But found the problem.

Version v3.15.1 (test)

  • Huge code change on 15min slots for learning, solar forecasting, household usage tracking
  • Better capture battery consumption and production watts (some users have restriction on for more than 1 unit)
  • Attempt to show if an additional battery unit would benefit your set up.

Check changelog in post 2 in this topic for more details

Should be fixed in v3.15.1 (just pushed to test)

Hi Jeroen, V1.15.1 uploaded and appears to do exactly as I like. I have to determine all the decisions and reasons with updating the parameters but there is a lot going on and this morning when the sun started the batteries were at 7% while using cheap power and anticipating expected sun power clearly described in the Timeline.

Note: I also have the Power by the hour app and if I click on the Battery policy tile the webcam display pops up, if I then click on the Power by the hour tile it’s webcam display pops up but is after appr. a second replaced by the Battery policy webcam display. Difficult to describe so I made a small move but can’t upload it.

Feature request: If you have time you might want to look at the possibility to open a larger Battery policy webcam display as its very interesting data is hard to see both on Iphone and IMac.

This better?

Yes, great

Ok, v3.15.3 is now live but does not contain this adjustment.
I’ll push this as test version v3.15.4 then.

Can I connect the HomeWizard P1 meter and the Plug-in Battery to both Homey Pro and Home Assistant simultaneously, or is there a chance that Homey Pro will experience some problems?

So far, the HW Energy Sockets are not causing any problems on either systems
