Hm Athom/Homey struggled with Energy tab when there are plugin batteries (more than 1).
Not sure if that is valid case here.
Further there are some fetching improvements in the test version so at least make sure you try that one as well.
Thanks, just the P1 meter is in place. No other HomeWizard equipment. I’ll remove and add the app again later this week
Sure no problem. Your case sounds rare so we need to understand the reason my Homewizard app crashes your Homey, which I find strange. If my app crashes fine, but that should not crash your Homey in general.
True, thanks. If I can help let me know.
Your help for now would to try the test version that is available v3.9.20.
That one I will release soon, not changing anything there anymore.
Got some feedback it is a known bug in the kWh firmware and already fixed in the current beta. This has been pushed for you to your kwh’s as Christmas break delays the final release.
Tried it, and immediate crash as soon as I click the energy tab in Homey. –> a23c8f26-fa92-4dc4-86da-cdcc26aa9d85
I see nothing in the log and doubt if this is my apps problem.
Just to understand clearly. Is your Homey crashing, as in it reboots? Or is your Homey app crashing and you need to start the Homey application again to get access to your Homey?
What happens is that when homewizard is enabled the homey crashes after a few minutes, or immediately when I click on the energy app. When homewizard app is disabled homey is stable.
I think that the crash avoids me being able to create a clear diag report because it crashes (just a network engineer here, not a software engineer, so maybe I’m wrong but this is how it works with network equipment…) And when creating a report when it is running all seems to be fine as you saw
So your homey reboots if my app runs?

Yes, I truly appreciate your fast responses!! But yes it does. It started the day after the update to 12.10.0 and before that it was running stable for more then a year. So my guess would be a conflict in that. I am running on your new test version now. The homey crashes (red ring) and after that a reboot. If I don’t touch anything it rus for a few minutes and crashes again. If I login in and hit the energy button it crashes also
I am really flabbergasted. I can’t see a cause in logs and have nearly 20000 installs of this app.
I understand, me too over here
. Tried everything I can do on the Homey side (factory reset, firmware update forced etc..) Really strange. I saw some others having issues with the new homey version, for me it pinpoints to the homewizard app. Could well be that something else in Homey is causing it. Homey support is involved, but no luck there for a few days. Not sure how to proceed because as a user I can’t see much what is happening
Agreed, not sure if you can run the app as a homey app run —remote? A bit advanced approach but that would perhaps show the crash on the console.
Strange. My 1phase kwh homewizard meter (v 5.0103) connected to my solar reports correctly in the homewizard app.
In Homey it reports kwh’s in the night. (Monar?
)
@Jeroen_Tebbens Does this relate to the issue with energy in homey as you stated a couple of messages ago.
Drop me a diagnostic report, may be your log shed some light.
code is C8F869C7
That code is not my pp diagnostics. Check settings from my app and hit diagnostics.

Which driver are referring to as you have added the same kWh as a normal SDM230 and as P1 smart meter one. Moreover also what values are wrong and why?
