If the spa is set to high temperature range in the BWA app then by turning âonâ the temperature range card in the homey app it will change the temperature range, from high to low, on the spa. But it isnât possible to again turn high on from homey⌠to turn temperature range to âhighâ this must be done manually from the BWA app.
Preferably the âtemperature range cardâ in the homey app should be on = high range, off = low range, or the text high and low to make the choice clear.
Then the temperature range is now 10-37C, this is according to the âlowâ temperature range so this is good BUT the range should change to 26,5-40C when the temperature range changes to âhighââŚ. This doesnât happen, not even if the range is changed to high in the BWA and the temperature is set to 40C, it now instead stops at 37C in Homey
I made a new report if that helps: 7f0500bb-b768-4a90-be98-1bfd949fbb66
That is the case right? Thereâs a dropdown with High or Low. Or do you mean something else. please send screenshots as currently itâs hard to guess.
Also saw you report, but itâs really unclear what is wrong. Why cant you change it back?
also when the temperature range changes you have to re-open the device in Homey. This is not something Homey properly supports so it wonât auto update the UI. re-opening the device tab should work
Sorry for being unclear, this forum wonât let me upload more than one picture. I made an clip board for you to easier understand.
I start with the spa set to 25,5C and temperature range Low. I then in Advanced flow change the temp range to High and 37C. In high the range should go to 40C so this is also a problem as the range is now limited to 37C⌠But for this test we go with 37C. I then run the flow, the temp range doesn´t change, it still is set to Low but the temperature changes to 37C on the spa.
In scenario 2. I instead manually in the BWA app change the temperature range to High and the temperature to 39C. In the Homey app the temperature still shows as 37C as this now is the max on the temperature scale. I then make the flow with changing the temperature range to Low and 25,5C, run the flow and the spa changes directly to Low and the temperature 25,5.
Conclution is that it works when Homey changes the range from High to Low, but it doesent work to change it from Low to High. Also as you wrote earlier that the Homey UI is lagging to change the temperature scale⌠Maybe it is then better to show the whole range 10C-40C always and instead just get the temperature range function to work as a flow card an also present the symbol as High/Low in the status meny in the Homey app.
Lastly, as a bonus, number 3 in the picture, I saw that temperature range is set as boolean Yes/No, maybe text High/Low is a better choice.
@Anders_Soderqvist so i checked you rimage and your reports. As far as i see the temperature range is not coming rough from the API conflicting the UI.
Would you mind sharing your credentials with me (via a DM) so i can check it?
unfortunately not possible, this is how homey works
@Bartj according to the log there is no problem.
But its kinda hard for me to check.whats going on.
So please give a explaination what doesnât work and when you tried it send a new report with explaination what you did. Then we can search for the issue. Right now it can be anything
I saw that my polling was 600sec, so thatâs why nothing reacts, have changed it and tested everything again, did send a new report with my test results.
BTW, love that you made this possible. great app and loving to have this on mijn homey so i can make more automatization.
No, still some issues like described in text when sending log. Iâm at work now and donât have text with me. This evening i will post it here if you doesnât received it

Do you know if there is some issues with the API for CMS? I have not had updates from the spa in two days in Homey, when i restart the Balboa app in Homey, there are missing capabilities (such as starting pumps). Tried to enter the login credentials again, but that did not change anything. The original CMS app does connect to the CMS-module and can control the Spa.
I have automatic scheduling of filtercycle, and the commands went through 2024.03.12 around 21:00, and not 2024.03.13 around 21:00.
