Hey @OH2TH
I will look into this ![]()
With the volatile electrical prices that we currently have I would like to put my spa into low range setting and just keep it on low temperature to not risk it from freezing. It is just one feature that is missing for me to make this happen, I would need a âthenâ command of setting the temperature range to high and low and that the temperature range setting for the spa will adjust accordingly. Temperatur setting for high range is the one that has the range from 28C up to 40CV, but I would like to also be able to automatically toggle to low range and get the temperature range of 10C to 28C. The Balboa app has the feature and I have seen that an âand/ifâ card for temperature range is avalible but to be able to set the temperature range with a âthenâ card would be great.
Thanks
@Anders_Soderqvist theres a Set temperature mode flowcard. Doesnât that do what you want?
What type of module are we talking about? BWA or CMS?
With the CMS module, that card is âSet temperature mode âŚâ When you change, the last set temperature in the mode you choose, will be set again.
Hello
Sorry if Iâm slow but I canât see the card you talk aboutđ¤ See picture, these are the only options among the âthenâ cards⌠I donât find the âset temperature rangeâ card⌠The top card is just set temperature, and it only has the range of 26,5C to 40C, not the range of 10-28. I tried to force it to set to 26.5 but the spa doesnât respond to that temperature as it is outside the range mode.
Maybe Iâm just looking in the wrong placeđ¤ˇđźââď¸
Thanks
BWA it is ![]()
BWA doesnât have that card available and wonât be available. Unfortunately thatâs only available on CMS modules
@Anders_Soderqvist ah nevermind. I see it might be possible. Will try to implement it ![]()

Have installed the new version but have a problem with the wifi so can´t test it right now, will make the test this weekend.
I have now tested the functions of the new version, the âthenâ card for the temp range now exists but it doesnât change the range on the spa. It changes from active to non active in the Homey app but not on the spa. It also doesnât change the temperature range that is possible to set. The temperature range that is possible to set is 26,5C to 40C, but when the spa is in low temperature mode the range should be all the way down to 10C.
Either the temperature range is variable to set depending on the temperature range (high/low) that is chosen or the temperature range is 10-40C always but that the temperature range mode must be switched between high and low for the temperature setting to take affect. Se pictures how the Homey now isnât syncing. If the spa is set on low mode and I adjust to 40C in the Homey app, the spa will go to 37 and just stop, also if the range is set to 16C in the BWA app, the Homey will still show 26,5C as set temperature.
@Anders_Soderqvist Homey should react to the range you set in the BWA app. But I couldnât test that. I didnât make the BWA script and I donât own a spa at all. Iâm aware of the temperature ranges, thats already built in
Please send a report so i can debug what is going on.
Here is the report 760a9364-742c-45d5-bc3a-9c26efb5c8c6
I also checked that is happening when pushing the âtemperature rangeâ button in the Homey app, it changes the status for the temperature range but only in the Homey, it doesnât send/sync the info with the spa. (it doesnât affect the temperature dial, it is still 26,5-40C)
Thanks for the help
Just as information regarding the BWA module, as i have owned one. When you change the temperature range from Homey, try to give it some time and close (terminate) the BWA-app on your phone and re-open the BWA-app. You maybe have to try a couple of times, then suddenly the temperature scale is in âlow rangeâ mode. Be patient, the module can be really âbuggyâ.
Thanks but I have tried, also had patience but the spa doesnât follow this command of changing temperature between high and low range. Also the temperature is always 26,5-40C in the homey, even when I change to 16C in the BWA spa app.
@Anders_Soderqvist as already said, something is not working correctly, so it makes sense it doesnât work like you expect it to. Please check the fix below
