I have the same problem. The configured and working balboa app stopped updating data although it pretended to be on-line. I’ve restarted the balboa app - didn’t help. Then I uninstalled it and installed again and when I’m trying to add a new ControlMySpa Device, I keep getting an error:
Event their site (https://idmqa.controlmyspa.com/oxauth/login) acts strange. After the login, I land on the page saying “Welcome to your Gluu Identity Appliance 3.1.3.Final !”.
Mobil app on iphone (ControlMySpa) works flawlessly and so does the the new web management portal available here: https://iot.controlmyspa.com/portal/auth/login
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Thanks for the reaction Martinj!
I’m trying to troubleshoot this a little bit. The overpriced controlmyspa device (connected to the ethernet) is talking to 216.14.17.240:8883 and that works well.
The native controlmyspa mobile client app is talking to the same server but via an SSL (216.14.17.240:443) and that works fine too.
Adding new spa in homey through your app is clearly reaching out to the same server but I get the same “No new devices have been found” error message even if I type in a nonsensical password so I’d assume the authentication process had been (deliberately) changed by the BWA company that runs the whole thing.
Is there any chance to get to the log file of your homey app? Thanks again.

Thanks Marius. But going through the code to find out if and how the Balboa app stores log files on Homey is too much of a hassle. I thought the app keeps a log file on homey’s filesystem for “Create Diagnostic Report” Purposes. When I hit that button (and I already did) Martijn have received some king of log file, I’m sure. I was thinking that if I can get to it directly on homey, I’d be at least able to identify the root cause. I do appreciate your responsiveness, guys!

I think this is managed by Athom, but surely @martijnpoppen can correct me if i am wrong when he is available. There are quite many posts in the forum about that the “diagnostic report” is to short, and the developer can not do anything, because it is a Homey issue.
@Peter_Martis quickly checked your report. But looks like the authentication has been changed. So theres a new way of authentication. This might require a bit more time to investigate how it works as theres no official API available
Fyi @Marius_Stensrod

@martijnpoppen , Regarding login credentials, you got all the time you need.

That’s what I thought. I just hope it’s not an attempt to prevent 3rd parties from connecting to their cloud (just like BMW did a short while ago). Enjoy your weekend and if I can help in any way (e.g. sniff the packets from native app that can still log in vs your app trying to do the same thing, just let me know).

@Bartj would you mind sharing your login in a DM so I can check the API logs myself?
