@Lang try via Homey webapp (https://my.homey.app)
I want to use this app to get the location of my phone, when starting a flow. The later steps are to calculate the ETA based on this location. I have set the server interval to 0, cuz I will use this only a few times a year. So I want then call the update “apparaat gegeven”, to update the latest location, and then call my ETA. But when I call this, and check the device status, its latest update is 20hours ago. furthermore, some variables are update 21hr ago, whole some 20hr ago. What is going wrong? 003ad4de-c4da-4eaf-ab9b-8a302f8fc6f2
@Michel_van_Lier the device doesn’t look connected, can you try to repair it?
How to do this? I have installed the app +/20hr ago, and already disconnected? When I try to repair through the app, after logging in hangs in “loading”, while on the web app there is no such option?
@michel_van_lier Homey Webapp, right click - repair
yeah might be because you’re not updating it, so it looses the sessions (same as Find Devices - Apple iCloud)
Would there be a way to do this to minimise impact on battery?
@michel_van_lier, i would recommend a update every 2 hours and if that works try to increase the interval
Hi, Still not working ![]()
How do I save a distance value to a BLL variable?
Example: “When distance from Home(y) in mi becomes less than ‘# tracker distance’ (a BLL variable) Then set ‘# tracker distance’ to distance from Home(y) in mi. I then so a “Send ‘# tracker distance’” to my phone.
The value I see in the ‘Send’ notification is 0.
FYI: I’m also posting this in the BLL thread.
@Chuck this is the Apple find my topic
For BLL questions please ask them in the BLL topic (like you already did) I can’t answer this
Will do. Thank you for replying.
Hallo,
I think/experience wrong /too high distance to homey values for my iPhone 15 Plus (latest IOS).
I already saw that the distance to Homey in meters couldn’t be right a long time.
While in bed these values had a range of values between 35 and 44 meters which all would be in reality outside my apartment. Around 9-10 meters would more accurately . But whith that is still not such a problem
Wednesday I have been on a meeting that is around 10km distance to my apartment but in insights it shows at that time it was 97556 meters which is 97 km! That quite a lot different incorrect measurement that I I think to report it here for your information.
Do or do not anything you want with this information.
Thanks ![]()
@DoctorBazinga to double check is your homey location set correctly?
This app uses the location you set on homey settings as the “home” location
Dear Martijn,
I checked. Location of my Homey Pro 2023 is correct.
At the moment I’m sitting (max 50 cm!) right next my Homey Pro 23 and its saying 41 meters:
And Wednesday I had a meeting at the office of my accountant that is approximatly 10 km (straight line) from my apartment till 18:00 hours.
So maybe are the shown values no a ten or hundred fold??
Look I understand that it could not and would not expect it on the centimeter precisely. But a tenfold of hundredfold is a little bit extreme im my humble opinion.
4000 cm instead if correct 40 cm and 97556 meters instead of correct 9755.6 meters. ![]()
Just my thoughts.
@DoctorBazinga can you send a diagnostic report? ![]()
Of course:
Diagnostics report:

By the way its nothing that giving me headache just a slight itch that you could get acquainted to. ![]()
So no stress or hurry at all.
(and I know that public/civilian GPS is not so accurate and has an error margin of approximately 10 meters.)
might a exclamation mark in my password the problem why a get a authentication failure?

@Ype yes, for now only @ seems to work
Hi,
I have been trying to resolve this issue myself, but without success.
What I have already done:
Verified that my Apple ID username and password are correct.
Successfully logged in to Apple services, including Find My and account.apple.com.
Changed my Apple ID password and tried again.
Confirmed that two-factor authentication is working normally on my Apple account.
Restarted Homey.
Tried re-authenticating the Find My app.
Confirmed I am running the latest version of the Find My app (v1.6.0).
Current behavior:
Device locations have not updated for about a month.
Some devices show a yellow exclamation mark.
When I try to log in again, I immediately get “Error: Unauthenticated”.
The error appears before Apple asks for a 2FA verification code.
Diagnostic ID:

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
