Hi Martijn,
Great app, but somehow it stopped working, I removed all devices and trying to login with Apple ID with no success. Could you check what’s going wrong? 39dbf52d-9b05-4c9b-b9fc-feaa6685252b
@Gijs_Blokzijl nothing strange to see only that authentication failed. Try to login here and see if that works for you Find Devices - Apple iCloud
Martijn, great app and I love the simplicity. One question: I see the variable serververzoekinterval, which is set at 60sec. All good in normal situation, but if I want to check people coming home it sometimes is too long. So, I would like to do more frequent updates for a faster response if a phone comes closer to home, and lesser when the phone is far away, or even at home.
Can the interval be changed through a flowcard?
@Oskar_Brink yes it can the flowcard is on app level and not on device level
I would prefer it to be done (also?) on a per device level, rather than for all. Is this possible?
I am looking also at the HomeAssistant iCloud3 integration, which does something similar (I like the Homey app for it’s simplicity).
Thanks for you reply, rebooting did the trick.
App is working again!

add the device

@Oskar_Brink that won’t change anything as when you call the iCloud api it fetches all devices so it will still impact battery of all phones
Thanks Martijn. Thanks for clarifying.
Unfortunately, I’m having trouble logging into the Find My app and could really use some help.

@Knudjo I see a authentication failure
Can you try login in on Find Devices - Apple iCloud and then try again in homey ?
Thank you.
Yes, the device (iPhone) is now found and displayed in the cloud.
The authentication error message still appears when logging in.
@Knudjo make sure to not have any special characters in your password, that doesn’t work with this integration ‘@’ does work
Same error
@Matthieu_Fiasse sometimes happens can be multiple things. Somethings you can try:
- try to pair it via the homey we app
- wait 48 hours before trying again
- Change you apple password and try again
Changing my password is not an adequate solution ![]()
I’ll wait 48h and try again monday
