[APP] IKEA Trådfri - Create the right atmosphere for every mood (by Athom)

Ok I understand it is still a fw problem and I dont have the dirigera hub. Thats sucks!
I am a beginner at homey pro and bouth a used one. Think is model 2018.
I cant se the FW version on settings att inspelning on my phone but maybe i have to use a computer?

Athom/Homey has to inplement an update function ASAP, to be a realistic player instead of offering a quite stupid and silly device named Homey Pro 2023

If this is within developer or general do not matter, the function should be there

I don´t know if it´s supposed to be like this but I have a few IKEA Tretakt plugs (and also inspelning).
Why don´t I get the status symbol if it´s on or off in the Web GUI but I do have them in the app (android)?
They are set to light in the settings.

It´s the same for the IKEA Ormanäs LED.
It shows color, dim-level and on/off in the app but not in the web GUI.

Hello i am new here sow hopefully this is the right way to ask for help.

Since the last ikea official app update the motion sensor what i have is very slow or does not work at all. The lamps just wont turn on according the flow. The flow is right but the sensor does not give a alarm at all.

What i did:

  • reboot Homey pro 2023
  • took the power of the Homey
  • Restart ikea app
  • Tried to repair the sensor over Homey
  • Replaced batteries
  • Removed device and add it again.
Adding the device cost me more then 25 attemps but still not works porbably. Detected one movement alarm and now nothing again.

Hopefully anyone can help.

Hi Robert, i just posted my problem here. Is there maybe a beta that i can install that might solve my problems. I have no lights now in my basment :frowning:

There’s a test version available: IKEA Trådfri | Homey

But your problem is most likely not related to the app but to Homey’s Zigbee itself.

Yes, just installed it. Not helpinf indeed. Any trick you know? Its frustrating :frowning:

With Homey’s Zigbee, if it’s misbehaving, the “trick” is usually to reset the Zigbee network and start over :man_shrugging:t3:

The compleet network?? And do i have to install all the devices again? Thats like 50 +

Yes. There might be other ways to (usually temporarily) fix your issue, but you’d have to search the forum for that because I’m not particularly up-to-speed with the latest “how to get my Homey working again” tricks.

Thank you very much. Another question. Is it useful to buy the ikea hub to update the devices?and is that possible without removing them from homey

If you want to update the devices, you will need an IKEA hub (or a better Zigbee controller, like zigbee2mqtt).

I can’t comment on whether it’s actually useful to update the devices.

No, Zigbee devices can only be paired with one controller.

Hi Drenso,

Please have a look at the post from ebaauw. In firmware .45 the divisor is fixed. With load above 1000 the divider changes.

Regards,
Radboud

As mentioned in my post, the .45 updates fixes the firmware issues and completely works with Homey. It still has a power quirk as the divisor is not updated simultaneously with the power attribute, causing the reading to jump when crossing the 1000W point.

Thanks for keeping us informed.
I use this plug for my heatpump and the consumtion varies from 0 to 2000W. Just have some more questions.

-Do you have any dialog with IKEA on this issue?
-Is the problem also in their app (if u use dirigera)?
-would it be possible to wait to publish the W until the multipler is reported when there is an obvious deviation from the A value (V*A!=W)?

/A
