[APP] Aqara & Xiaomi Smart Home - Simplify your life with a smarter home

Not every unsupported device receives two nominations …

It supports Matter-over-Thread so it should already be supported by Homey…

Cannot wait to grab those new UK wall outlets

Damn.

Are you also planning to fix the issue with T1 sensors not reporting? When reading through this thread it seems that there is problem with the zigbee from aqara T1 device through other brand devices.

That’s a problem with the T1 devices themselves, not something that can be fixed by Homey.

Hi,
I’ve just bought some Aqara Vibration Sensor T1 devices – and unfortunately, they don’t work with the Homey app either. Does anyone have an idea when these will be supported?

Hi,
I’ve been trying to automate and control a set of E1 Thermostats since March but I’m unable to control the devices from Homey.

They are all paired and if I manually change something on the thermostat itself the information in Homey will be updated to reflect the new setting. The same with current temperature, it is constantly updated in Homey.

If I use Developer Tools and ping the device from the list of Zigbee devices initially get a yellow warning “Wake up device when pinging, it cannot receive commands while asleep.”. Sometimes it will respond after a few seconds but most of the times it will timeout.

I’ve tried both with/without child lock and in both manual and away mode.

Short story; All changes initiated from the thermostat will instantly update in home, majority of changes from Homey will fail.

Any ideas?

Setup/Info

Homey version: 12.7.0 (Homey Pro (Early 2023))
App version: 1.13.0
zb_sw_build_id (same for all thermostats): 0.0.0_0030

Does anyone know if the Aqara H2 eu wall switches will be supported? My house is filled with them. Used to run them on Home Assistant, but switched to Homey. But now its paired as generic zigbee device.. and second button on the switch doesnt register.. Thanks!

Does anyone know this is the matter sensor p2?

On AliExpress I can only found the p1

The Aqara H2 EU Wall Switch isn’t listed in the Homey App Store (link).
Therefore, this switch is currently not supported by the Homey Aqara app.

The Homey Best Buy guide shows the Aqara FP2 as a compatible mmWave sensor, yet when you look at the Official App it does not list the FP2 as a supported device.

Anyone know what the actual situation is?

It’s a wifi device, not an Aqara zigbee app device, Peter.
That guide can be improved on the “guiding” level here

You can add it by using the Homekit Controller app (no fruit needed), for almost 2 years now:

Last time, reportedly due to a change by Athom, the Aqara battery powered devices lost the battery type information. Ted advised to delete and reinstall the devices to get back the information. Well I did it with a Temperature sensor and no battery type info. After installation (did it a few times) in few cases the battery showed a value and in few just a question mark. Well let’s see if there’s some percentage info tomorrow.

Will open a support request with Athom too

FYI Battery info can take many hours (24?) to appear with recent paired devices.

Hi. I have some problems with Aqara Motion Sensor P1.

I have one sensor added earlyer, was added with the first version of the app with P1 support, works fine.

Bought 4 more and none works.

This is what happens,:

I add the device. Its found and added fine.

A few seconds later it says Zigbee device left the Network.

Tried adding next to Homey .

Tried adding far away from Homey next to a namron smart Plug.

Same result. It just leaves the network.

I also keep it alive in the pairing process.

The firmware version of the Aqara is the same in all 5 devices. Everything is identical.

What can cause this?

Definitely something wrong with the p1 motion sensor and the Aqara app.

Looks like pairing works ok. But it leaves the Zigbee network shortly after.

I can add other aqara Zigbee devices without any problems. Like temp sensors, window sensors.

I thought i was reaching some kind of Zigbee device limit..

So how can it be fixed?

I can provide logs etc.

So has anyone else been able to add a p1 sensor with the latest version of the app?

I have the same problem after adding four aqara temperature sensors.

No one that has successfully integrated the E1 thermostat with Homey?

Turns out my Zigbee network was corrupted..

So i reset the Zigbee network. Repaired 20 routers. Closest to Homey first then moving further away from Homey.

Then repaired battery devices from far away, then moved closer and closer to Homey.

No problem with adding new. So now I have around 65 Zigbee devices, working as it should.

All flows kept their node id. So nothing to do there.

Hi, any plans to support Aqara W500? Their page mentions homey support, but device type is not listed in homey aqara app. (Aqara Floor Heating Thermostat W500 – Aqara LLC)
